If you're talking about rimmer he kinda got sucker punched with an axe to the face. So I Don't think he was in a position to stop it unless he somehow can see the Future or is immune to axes to the face. Also the attacker was a man not a teenage girl

IIRC it wasn't because she was a girl but because her voice didn't match the tone they required for the choir, which unfortunately is a side effect of being a girl.

Can you back those claims up with any evidence? I'm genuinely curious.

Did you even read what the article says? It proves my point. It says that the genes that make you have a higher risk for weight gain only make you want to eat more calories and crave sugary and fatty foods. In fact it even says you can combat this by making a diet choice to simply not consume those foods.

That works because you're purposely depriving your body of the insulin it needs. Without the insulin your body cannot properly use glucose as energy so it instead resorts to your fat stores. So in other words since you aren't getting the glucose from what you eat your body turns to your fat stores

If that were true then you would not try to debunk calories in vs calories out. Answer me this: if calories in vs calories out isn't how it works then where the hell is your body getting the fat from? Is it materializing it out of thin air? If that's the case then why the fuck isn't anyone researching that?

I want you to do something for me to bring yourself a revelation. You need to get a food scale and count EXACTLY what you and your brother eat on a weekly basis and compare. You will find that he eats less than you do despite whatever your estimations are telling you

My man i think you have a LOT of misconceptions about weight you really need to read up on the subject before speaking about this stuff. The way you're talking is reinforcing many people's wrongly believed notions that them being overweight or obese is not a result of their lifestyle choices

Whether he eats more junk food than you is irrelevant. What matters is how much you eat vs how much you expend. There isn't some magical body process that makes you materialize fat out of thin air.

I'm not particularly familiar with that sub but from my understanding of it it doesn't apply to my comment. I was simply clarifying a lot of people's misunderstanding. I'm not saying just lose weight or just gain weight. Maybe reread my comment and tell me what part of it warrants that sub since im genuinely curious

This comment caused a ton of people with misconceptions about the role your metabolism plays in weight gain/loss to come out of the woodwork and i just want to correct it. The metabolism speed you have plays an extremely small role in your weight. The vast vast majority of whether or not you gain weight is simply calories in vs calories out. The reality of skinny people who just can't gain weight is they're not eating enough and the fat people who just can't lose weight is that they eat too much…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
