It clearly is possible with a large enough sample size and correctly managed controls. Right, but I addressed that in my OP. I think that's generally valid, but it seems to me that the way individuals investigate these sexual strategies through personal field research isn't rigorous enough to falsify. Neither the targets nor the user of the strategies are controlled, much less blinded, samples aren't large enough for any particular experiment and aren't created to avoid sample bias.
