1	Girlfriend suggested she goes to a crazy party without me, but ended up not going to it when I said to come over straight to my place as planned. Do I still tell her going without me to a crazy party isn't okay and set a boundary, or would that be seen as mate guarding? 4	UPDATE: Should my girlfriends past hold me back from advancing the relationship? Yikes, there's two sides to this. (1) she's being honest, in which case, I'd give it a chance! (2) she's done more? And is letting you down slowly I would give her a chance, but definitely slow things down. It is very demanding, and the road to surgery especially is littered with pain There's many other options. PA school for example. Look into it!
