To me the red flag wasn't the one night stand, it's the insecurity that comes attached with the regret. It's not "I banged the guy and it didn't work out", it's "I banged him and I regret it and I can't stand him now". I don't know their full history, obviously, but it would make me think twice. Edit: That's not to say that I agree with the comment above, he was being very absolutist instead of just mentioning the red flag.

To add on to notanon's comment, ask open-ended questions. If it can be answered in either yes or no, then alter the phrasing so that they can elaborate. You get boring answers out of boring questions. You can ask the same thing while also getting them to elaborate a little. So, instead of asking if they have exams coming up, ask them how the exams are for nursing, what sort of certifications they need, etc.

I think that you're severely underestimating the amount of sex humans have.

It's entertainment from a business, not a public thing. You don't have to drink alcohol, water is a necessary part to living.

I would think it's incredibly racist and not drink there.

And properly shot down, too. It's not unconstitutional in the least, I'd like someone to prove to me how it is. Don't go to the bars that do that, if it really bothers you. Apparently it's profitable for them, otherwise they wouldn't do it, the government should have no say in this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
