Women are commonly a prop in most genres of music, not sure what the point of your comment is.

If you're not going to talk or hang out with someone anymore you could try to talk to them about it before-hand so it doesn't build up into some weird awkward situation where you don't want to talk to her but she wants to talk to you.

I find it helps when I do little things that makes myself proud. You don't have to tell anyone about them, just small tasks every day that make you feel good. For most people it could be things like improving your hygiene, working out, buying some new clothes you feel confident wearing, holding conversations with strangers, etc. Just try tackling things like this and you'll probably feel more confident and proud of yourself. Also, fake it till you make it works quite well, for me

You'll learn more scouring the subreddit for information people have posted in the past than whatever people reply to this comment with. Just being honest. Something minor people forget is to look other people in the eye. Learn to listen when other people are talking. These and others are skills that are universal and help regardless of the social activity you're looking for. I'd take some time, maybe half an hour to an hour to read the sidebar posts, and some of the top posts and deciding what …

If you wanna talk to her then go for it. As other have said, there's no point in talking if you have nothing neat to talk about. Save the most important and interesting stories for your dates

Haha never heard of that before. Googled it and found there's nothing neat me, but that's along the right track! Just living in too small of a place for those haha

I did try checking the site out but it didn't seem like much was going on in my area on the site.

Same here every time someone asks op's question the main response is always either college, clubs (which in my area doesn't exist unless you're in college), and bars, which doesn't help if you're only 20 like OP and I.

Girls know this old "trick" so it's not really as good as some people make it out to be.

Thanks BTW! I've already taken a look before but I'm reading over material again to brush up.

I'm unemployed and not going to school, so my options are more limited.

It's a common fad for high school and college aged girls to pretend they're anything but straight. How else would they get attention? I don't really have any advice myself but I personally think it's a type of shit test to keep betas away.

I wish I was from a different country, that's a great way to spark up conversation and I'm sure people would want to hear about it

Hey, you could probably pull quite a few women if you told them you had coke haha

Most of the advice here still applies. Also, /r/socialskills isn't bad either.

I'd assume if she has it then she probably uses it so no problem.

Yeah, its better than I usually get! My big problem is I keep having trouble actually being able to talk to her because class itself is a bit if an inappropriate time

It's touching. Escalating with kino means that when you are with a woman, you start with light touching (brushing your arm against her's as you walk, for example), and this subconsciously creates a connection between the two of you beyond just talking.

OK, so I got all gussied up, and headed to class, and asked her. She said she was busy after class and told me why. :( but on the upside, she said she would like to grab lunch on Wednesday, which is when our next class is!

Definitely will do, wish me luck!

Hey Seddit. I plan on asking a girl out on a date when I see her in class today. Is it bad to ask her to spontaneously go to lunch after class?

It really just depends on the person and what kind of facial hair they have. I've found I look much better clean shaven, because when my hair grows out its like a neckbeard. If a person can grow a good beard and has a face it works with then that's fine too.

You have more than three times the matches I have and I made my tinder like 6 months ago... I'd say you're doing pretty well :P

Acne isn't as bad as you think. Just get out there and feign confidence if you don't have it, fake it till you make it.

That's totally normal dude, I feel the same way a lot. But the most important part is the mindset and going in and improving yourself is great to help your mindset. So its a win-win either way!

Dude, don't worry about your physical appearance so much. Its all solid advice from the other guys here, but your appearance doesn't matter. If they send you pictures, try sending one back and see where it takes you. Edit: PS. I like your username.

"Hey, wanna come to my place and pet my Schnauzer? Then maybe we can play with this dog." Works every time.* *Results may vary.

I've heard the advice you're giving but I've also seen stated that its important not to ask questions much because its like interviewing a person. What would you say is the best way to balance this?

Talking to a doctor can really help. I've been in the same boat, but I've been getting help through medication and therapy, and while I'm still not at a level I'm happy with, I am glad that my anxiety is getting better. Just don't be afraid to talk to people.

I think the getting rid of Facebook can be a great thing if that makes you happy, but in my opinion its important to be able to text because nowadays it's a really popular form of communication, and you may miss out on some opportunities if people aren't able to get in contact with you that way.

I could only assume that both OP and his lady friend were drinking beer at a BAR.

From my experience, eharmony has been awful for me. All the people it tries to match me with live hours away, and it isn't easy to make your profile really reflect you. Then again, I could definitely see it working for some other people more than I.

If only I got invited to parties. Or was old enough to go to bars. Or could drive and was able to go hang out with friends.... Oh well, there's always next new years.

Right on, man! Shit can be rough sometimes, but the best thing a person can do is learn from the past and grow from it, best of luck to you dude!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
