What did you do while travelling?

Yup. I feel the same way sometimes. You work hard to make yourself into something new. Then you get sick for two days, you cheat your diet, and find yourself watching South Park episodes on popcorn time. If we must crawl we will crawl into the light. Back to where we were so we can rebuild. Right now your problem is that you're slipping. You're not connected with what drives you. Your aimless but you do have a greater purpose and the sooner you connect with it the sooner you'll stop telling your…

It's not a bad thing to be a good person and to help others. Just don't forget about yourself.

Portable Tripod are super lightweight and could be used to increase video production. Is this off your phone?

Interesting Response Within a red pill paradigm it is just another enabling behavior. As men you need to use challenges to grow and develop a sense of self-confident enough to remove yourself from damaging circumstances(abusive relationships, dead-end jobs, unhealthy power dynamics). This is a good point that I hadn't considered. That yea it is enabling certain behaviours that you shouldn't even do in the first place. Now on the issue of making them "real", they are real, inherently if they affe…

I'm curious, what are the cons associated with seeing a therapist? You mentioned the female psyche so I could potentially see that identify your problem might make them more real for you but that also helps you accept them and move one.

Amazing Story Dude. Love the detailed perspective of who you are now and who you were. It's a pleasure to read this masterpiece.

Is sucking up all your emotions all the time very sustainable? It's definitely not easy. I recommend seeing a therapist if you really need outlet and still want to hide it from others (which I recommend strongly). I think It really helps your mental health to talk things out.

I'm suggesting to plan ahead. To predicting potential setbacks and put in in a system to deal with them. It's pretty important, for me at least, because not doing this jeopardizes my success.

You're all riled up and that's great. One question for you that I want you to think about. It's happened before to you and I think it might happen again. How will you handle a future slip in motivation?

Yup, it just depends on where you are right now. If you have lots of value then monk mode is probably not your best bet, but if you don't add much value then monk mode can be very beneficial.

Interesting post, you definitely caught on to the major themes of the subreddits. You also resisted being an armchair theorist who only reads this stuff with actually going out there and testing it yourself. I think you're doing some really great stuff here and I urge to keep posting such insightful analyses.

Completely. I have a good update for you. Writing this post made me go, “I don’t want that to fucking happen again.” I was determined to approach people. Last night I went out with two good friends. I made to sure just to talk to everybody. Yes I failed a couple times, but it was awesome! It felt so good to just get over my approach anxiety. Towards the end of the night we had a two girls sitting on a bench with us. The whole time we’re fucking around, and I'm asking random couples passing by if…

I'm not a fan of us blaming our attractiveness as major factor in women's reactions. There's so much more more going such as how bad of a day they're having or if you're feeling confident. It really lowers those who don't think they're attractive.

Great story love the part about taking the pressure off yourself and agreeing not to have sex. It's always fun to break your own rules.

But I don't think it's right to simply say women's history is a joke, it's a little misogynist and undermines women's rights.

Lying by Sam Harris

Good stuff, you're absolutely right about being genuine. There's this great book on lying--it changed the way I see being dishonest. In 99% of all situations white lies only make the situations worst. For example if you're telling your friend that your day is good when really you're day is off it shows that you don't trust your relationship to support. And, even more notably, think about if you were the other person, you would want to know about how your friend is really feeling. So there's real…

This is extremely relevant. I spent a whole dinner party saying NOTHING. I just didn't feel like talking. The dinner ended up in me getting into a debate about the legitimacy of pseudo-science based diets. Back to your point, isn't not talking ignoring someone. Isn't that also ruining the mood.

The idea of the word pair is not to be nice but to be kind. This was a great post, and I actively try to be more genuine but often find myself going into autopilot in which I just offer nice responses. Other times I just don't want be a dick and ruin the mood. For example my roommate often goes out and wakes up hungover the next morning. In these types of mornings he'll usually say, "I'm so hungover" or "I'm not even a real person right now." All I want to say is that maybe you shouldn't drink s…
