Here's my two cents on any question like this; Don't date/fuck/plate ANYONE you cant control access to. Meaning if you see them regularly on a day to day, no. No co-workers, no classmates, no one you see everyday when you go to the gym.

When I was a boy, I played with fire. One day my father found out. So, he got out his leather belt (the big one with the big brass buckle) and put an end to it. Never played with fire again. Its a legitimate way to set a strong boundary of what is NOT OK. The trick is it must be used SPARINGLY and with GOOD REASON. Not letting your house get burned down, for example.

I had this problem myself. After much thought I decided to stay in school and pursue a degree in computer science. Likely would have done it If I didn't despise the thought of being ordered around by people I don't respect. In the end its your choice. I will remind, and warn you, of this; Its pretty fucking hard to be an alpha when your entire life is dictated by other people. ESPECIALLY progressive bureaucratic morons.
