Because they're then attacked for being sexist and not equally dividing those resources between male and female issues. Or even told that since women had it harder, they should prioritize women's issues. There was an organised event in Sydney whose goal was to raise awareness about men's depression and suicide rates. Feminists protested and had it cancelled.

Well, from a resource perspective Depends on how much money the guy has I guess. From an estimated effort perspective, yes, single women would have to invest more effort to date single fathers than childless men. And from a feelings perspective, none of it usualy matters for a specific few who choose their love and care for that partner is worth all that effort. So, by default you're right, but there will always be outliers.

Average is, well, average. 50% of men are under average. Thats how average works. 50% are above. So by default if every man was on a dating app, 5/10 would be average and above. Ofcourse this doesn't account for dating apps further filtering through different means. But, atleast in my experience, women usualy have a more delusional view of their 'value' than men do.
