1	Does patriarchy cause violence to women? The majority of scholars, historians, and sociologists agree that patriarchy does exist. Patriarchy has been historically prevalent in many cultures. Sure, it's gotten better, but there are still bits and pieces. For example, girls/women in some areas receive less education than boys/men. A lot of the man vs bear discourse does become misandristic, but not because people pick bear, but because the question is sort of built to incite that response anyway. To say it’s a safe haven for misandrists is not true—when Reddit also allows misogyny. It’s very easy to get banned and warned on here.
