If you're working 40hrs a week you can't possibly be a housewife. That's an oxymoron. I would kill to be a housewife. Why do you want to work so badly?

My dad died suddenly about 3 years ago. We weren't super close but I had started wanting to develop a relationship with him and then boom he was gone. I never realized how much I longed for a relationship with my dad. Or how much I needed a strong male presence to balance out my character and build my self-esteem. I was raised by my mom and my grandma. My mom used to badmouth my dad and she discouraged me from having a relationship with him. They divorced when I was 8 months old. I've never seen…

It's true. Most women are looking for a financial provider, not a husband. It's not a fair trade for men these days. The actual worthwhile women are few and far between. Good luck out there!

For sure. I wholeheartedly believe the issues with relationships that we're seeing in the western world right now are the fault of women not taking accountability. It's the fault of feminism "empowering" women to behave like men. Things are all out of order from the way nature intended. As much as men's advocate spaces are necessary I feel like there would be more progress in correcting female behavior. Which can really only be done by other women.

Thanks! I'll look into that.

Exactly. Now Women just call me a "pick me" if I try to hold them accountable. As if there's something wrong with wanting to be picked by one man. What's the opposite of a "pick me?" A "pass me." Lol, my theory is that women who call other women "pick me's" have likely been passed around by the neighborhood.

That's part of what caused my "red pill" awakening honestly. Realizing that feminism only works because Men built the world for us. Made it so comfy that we don't even have to think about how the food gets to our grocery stores, how light comes into my apt, or how the plumbing works. As soon as you realize the contributions and capabilities of Men, Women become grateful. It even changed how I just walk down the street. I can't help but tip my hat or smile when I see a Man and especially a constr…

Maybe I have traditional values but I expect the guy to pay on the first date BUT if he wants to split it then I'd split it. It's kinda up to him seeing as relationships are up to men and that's what a date is there to explore the option of.

Many moments. I was always off board when it came to the “trans women are women” conversation but I just used to keep it to myself because I didn’t want to be outcast. Then I went vegan and realized how hypocritical the Black Lives Matter activists were because if I ever brought up how black people need to eat healthier if we really care about bettering the community they would tell me I was “elitist” and how black people cant eat healthier because of xyz reasons aka excuses. I’m not vegan anymo…

I’ll tell you what I read from a member of this subreddit. “Being in a relationship that is going nowhere is worse than being single.” Because at least while you’re single you can be available to others. I’d say if you do choose to lose this relationship you’ll definitely have to date up in age. To a 50 yo man 35 isn’t that old probably but to a 35 year old man, it’s like you might as well be 50. If you’re agreeable, fit, feminine, and friendly then you should still be able to find someone. Not …

I measure how much a man respects and loves me by how much he protects me more than how many things he buys me. There is some overlap in this like paying the majority of the rent for example, but yeah. Any man can buy me things but only a man who cares for you deeply will jump in front of a bullet for you. Just my two cents.

I used to be a wokey from 2012-18 so I’m familiar with a lot of these tactics. Namely, the one the Dominican girl kept using which is saying “right” after everything she says to try to punctuate as if she made some kind of actual point amongst the word salad. Seriously, you could make a drinking game out of how many times she says “right” and you’d be black out drunk by the end.

What if you order something from a restaurant that you know for sure he likes and pretend like you cooked it yourself? Then see if it’s really the food or some kind of tactic he’s pulling on you only. Idk, just a thought. Does he ever compliment at least a part of your cooking? If so, how do you respond? Do you say “I’m glad you liked it” or something like that?

You’re missing the whole point. I don’t think I’m a prize. I don’t like the idea of being a “prize” because then I get nothing. I agree that the relationship is the prize. I’m realizing people on Reddit just like to argue for the sake of arguing. I like to discuss. Thanks !

Just because a guy doesn’t ask a woman about her past doesn’t mean he doesn’t know about it. Especially if there are mutual friends between you or if you’re from a smallish town.

How did you get the impression that I’m pursuing a singular goal? Relationships are absolutely an ongoing process. I’m using red pill terminology in a red pill subreddit lol. “The prize” isn’t meant literally. It’s a red pill concept. Is this actually a red pill subreddit because a lot of people seem to be missing what I mean by “the prize.”

Gotcha. Yeah, I just feel like the dating apps are gonna bring more of the same, unfortunately. Because the nudes and attention are just a click away. My boyfriend said that there's a difference between men who cheat out of opportunity and those who go out of their way to cheat. Do you feel like this guy was the first or second type?
/r/RedPillWomen19/12/22 05:17 PM

I see. I feel for you. How did you and this guy meet? Was it via the internet in some way? I feel like at 29 it could benefit you to date older men who aren't as into the dating app / nude culture. Just a thought. Like maybe a 5 to 10-year age gap...would you be open to that?

Haha, yes. I'm guilty of watching a lot of red pill content on YouTube. Also being raised by a single mother and grandmother who are doomed to die single and alone, so I know how not to be.

Happiness is definitely a byproduct of a healthy happy relationship. I hope you don't think I was suggesting that happiness is extracting what we can from each other like some sort of material exchange. I really just think finding someone who is compatible and valuing them as a partner is of the utmost importance for a healthy relationship.

I'm new to the subreddit so forgive me if I'm breaking any rules. I have a long history of dating bummy guys because I thought the most important thing was just to be claimed by a guy; to be his "prize." I focused so much on what my "value" was as a "prize" and equated it to how many guys wanted me regardless of the quality of the guy. I was constantly cheated on and found it hard to actually lock down a relationship because I did not understand that for men, sex does not equal love. I literally…

Yes! I found myself caring so much more about my mood and making sure I spread good energy around him. I'm watching my weight and wanting to look nice for him because he works so hard and he deserves something nice in return. Men really are easy to please once you realize how hard they work in exchange for a few pleasant interactions when they get home.

Can you explain more about why you looked through his phone? Was it because he had given you permission in the past or would you have looked through it regardless of his permission? I'm genuinely curious and I'm not judging you. I think it's great you're getting to the bottom of this and seeking a better relationship for yourself.

This isn't an answer to your question so I'm sorry, but the mention of lululemon made me want to ask...have you heard of the true crime murder that happened in a lululemon? I know how much women like true crime or maybe I can only speak for myself lol but it's an interesting story.

A man having issues with other men approaching you is not insecure by nature. It's actually a sign that he values you. I used to be a stripper and was dating a guy who would literally come to the club and watch me give lap dances to strangers. That was pre-red pill and in hindsight, it was a huge red flag that he did not value me. He ended up getting his baby momma pregnant while I was sick during the pandemic lockdown.

We have been taught that women are the prize. But I never liked that concept because if I'm the prize then what do I get? My advice is to try to find a man who you feel is a prize.

Hi Icy, it sounds like he is either missing something in your guy's relationship that he's seeking elsewhere OR he has individual issues which you can't affect. Remember that vetting goes both ways. Men vet women just as much as women vet men. If he feels like he has to hide something like this from you then I think that means he didn't choose an ideal partner either. Women control access to sex, men control access to relationships. For example, I'm in the best relationship of my life at the…

Hi Icy, I'm in the middle with this situation. I don't think going through a guy's phone is ever a good idea. If you think you need to go through his phone then you already have your answer that this guy is not for you. I agree to some degree with A_cureforshyness but not completely. Men do love differently than women through provision and protection. But if he's telling you one thing and doing another then that is the bottom line that he is not a man of his word. Period. Regardless of what the …

I’m chipping away at this same iceberg of understanding every single day. I’m a black 28 yo woman raised in a multigenerational single mother and single grandmother household. My mother has been under my grandmas thumb all her life. The constant nagging, criticizing, never willing to leave well enough alone. My grandma is also addicted to trauma. She literally will record the news on one station while watching on another. The saddest part is that my mother is certainly aware of the painful cycle…
