Yeah I got this cartoon thing of a married couple and a chainsaw in front of them cutting a large wedding ring in half. It's pretty funny actually lol

Friends with my first ex, not so much with my soon to be second. Of course,it doesn't help that she's a flat out lunatic...

Dude, you sound EXACTLY like my situation. Like to the last detail. Go to the county clerks office and fill out some forms. The filing fee is $400 there's some places where she has to sign and get notarized. If it's just an uncontested simple divorce, the whole thing takes about 30 days. I'm coming up on my 3 year anniversary also, and our hearing is on December 10th. No lawyers, nothing to split up, my house was mine before we got married and no kids. She's not asking for alimony, and neither a…

omg, I am so completely embarrassed. I left my comment on the wrong post. I must have been meaning to write a comment on the one above or below it. It was about a man in his 60's whose wife decided she wanted a divorce with no warning or explanation. To the OP of this post, Please accept my apologies, and I hope you are doing better and get through your situation.

I was married once before. She cheated on me while I was serving in Iraq. She and my current wife couldn't be further apart as far as type of people goes. As far as lessons learned, sure. And I was wholly committed to this marriage. I knew her well and went ahead with it anyway because I was fooling myself into thinking it would work. No, there's nobody else.

You're right about that brother. She's already getting over it with another guy.

Sure I could have. I guess I just figured it would work itself out. Lesson learned.

Interesting perspective, not harsh at all. I'm definitely not the easiest guy to live with either.

I know what you mean. And half her stuff is still at my house, so there's constant reminders to make sure the guilt sticks around. Though talking about it on here with other guys helps.

Hey Buddy, I feel you completely. I'm guessing you're in your mid 30's or so? Doesn't really matter, I'm 52 and going through the same thing. You didn't mention it, but are you fully divorced, and now all of a sudden for the last month after 2 years of no contact she's been love bombing you? if so, kill that noise. she's a lunatic, and probably a narcissist who is short on supply, and needs a quick fix. which also probably means her babydaddy is sick of her shit too. why not contact him? Also, t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
