I can't explain it much more simply, you're intentionally avoiding understanding here. When someone tells you they don't want to put something of theirs somewhere, you go off and do it yourself, and even do so despite their objections, it makes you an asshole.

But you asked, is the point I am trying to get through your unbelievably dense skull, and was told no, he did not want to. You then turn around and post it yourself because fuck him, that's why. I don't see anywhere how he 'just hates mensrights'. And as to why its 'fine', it's not fine, its just the 'easier to ask for forgiveness than permission' bit. If you had just reposted it, I would've considered it a bit of poor taste since the author didn't. But when you asked the author, and he said no and you then SCREAM at him I ASKED YOU TO REPOST IT ASSHOLE. YOU DIDN'T WANT TO. WHO THE FUCK CASES WHAT USERNAME ITS ATTACHED TO? Oh, I'm sorry, you asked him to repost it. And when he said he didn't want to, you took it upon yourself to do it for him, despite him telling you he didn't want it here. Then you posted it like it was your own story. Like a douche. You deleted it after people called you out for it for being a douche. It actually would've been one thing if it had just been linked or reposted with no contact. The fact he asked, was told no, and then goes and does it anyway is what makes it a bit of a shitty thing to do. Sure, fair use and all that, its not illegal in the slightest, but...it's just not a very nice thing to do.

I mean, you can keep saying that, but it doesn't mean you're right. If, for instance, you ask 'Can I sit here?' on a bus when there are five other seats around us all usable, and I say 'No, sorry', and then you choose to sit in that spot anyway, it makes you an asshole. No, in neither case, there are no rules stating you CANNOT do that. But when asked not to, and you do it anyway, you're a dick.

The issue lies in the originating author asked him NOT to repost and he did so anyway - regardless of him being able to control what happens to it on the internet, it's still a massively dick move to take something and then post it despite the originator asking you not to. It's not so much rules, I suppose, as just common decency and respect.

This isn't a war like you're making it sound like. There's no 'ground' to win or lose, just social issues that need to be addressed.
