It’s to say “you risk assaulting me if you continue”. Looks like there’s a point where the people spread out and the fight calms down, and instead of going to his partner, he looks to keep fighting. I would start swinging if my girlfriend is attacked too, but I would be the first to turn to make sure she is ok when things start dying down. Also, half the situation isn’t even on video so we don’t actually know what is happening.
