However, she was spared jail and handed a suspended sentence after Judge Elizabeth Nicholls said she was a 'dedicated, hardworking woman' who posed no risk to the public. A woman judge, no less

Mackenzie Shirilla, 19, was found guilty in a bench trial on 12 counts: four of murder, four of felonious assault, two of aggravated vehicular homicide, one of drug possession and one of possessing criminal tools. I'm curious about the possession of criminal tools. Lock picks? Bolt cutters? Slim Jim?

If you have a child support order then they would have to prove you are the father, correct? In order to do that they would need a paternity test. Why would you have to pay withouta test? unless you signed a document claiming to be the father

It's not as bad as it sounds. This mostly means that no French company is allowed to sell DNA tests for recreational purposes like genealogy. And that French people shouldn’t have their DNA tested outside of a medical facility. However, no one has ever been fined for buying a direct-to-consumer DNA test. And more and more French people have had their DNA tested anyway, by buying kits to DNA testing companies abroad. 23andme and FamilyTreeDNA have been selling DNA tests in France the longest. But…

The courts won't force her to pay? I knew a deadbeat dad that went to jail twice for failure to pay. Once was because he was $600 behind.

Exactly. Gun safety. Like not leaving a loaded handgun in a car. Especially when you have kids that may be in that car later. That's where the negligence lies.

Not sure how it works in LA but in NY you are not allowed to leave a handgun in a car unattended. The article states the handgun is the father's. Why would the mother be charged?

No one has been arrested in Jarion’s death, although prosecutors could decide to file charges once they receive the case from the sheriff’s office. Who do you want to be arrested OP?

I wonder what she is up to these days. This happened 5 years ago and she ended up with 3 years probation.

"I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy," Trump said in a 2002 interview with New York magazine, adding: "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

So they bust the peds that are on Craigslist to make it look like they are actually doing something while the ones with any power, private planes and islands are overlooked. Seems about right.

It must be in the contract that people are not allowed to mention this on the show in the post interview. I have never heard anyone say, 'well the show paid what I owed so it's not a loss in my book'

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
