If you're willing to go out of your way to lie about someone with the intention of completely ruining their fucking life then your life should be completely fucking ruined.

Your last bit is exactly why it shouldn't be the same sentence. A person who is accused of a sexual crime loses everything, not just time served. Their life is more often than not, completely over. It gets turned into a hall of mirrors nightmare overnight.

I disagree. For most people, being accused of a sexual crime means your life is over. You don't just get the custodial sentence, you have to sign registers, sometimes for life, sometimes for 10 years. And that doesn't even touch on how you could potentially be treated in every aspect of your life. Friends, family, work, everything, gone. It's a life sentence, which is why this poor chap killed himself.

Wrong actually. Women have a predisposition to be able to move on quicker than men because they could potentially end up with a child to take care of on their own or be stuck with a bad mate. And the reason it's harder for men to let go and move on is because we compete for women, and when you get one, it's like you've won and now you need to hold onto her because you don't want to have to compete all over again, because it's difficult. This is literally a biological thing. It's nothing to do wi…

Actually, they had blocked off the other end of her road with roadworks (construction) so the only way for her to get out was this side, which was only blocked off with cones.

Obviously not, I only saw the comment with a list of problems in what she said, which he was right to point out. I didn't realise he'd said that. Apologies.

Very intelligent and informative input. He's made some legitimate points, I suppose that's why you don't like what he said, and went straight to Reddit's favourite insult for a male you disagree with, you total fucking prick.

You're not alone in how you feel about talking about your problems. It isn't men's default position, and I think it actually makes it worse. All I've heard over the past 10 to 15 years is about how men need to open up more and not suffer in silence, and since that started out mental health seems to be getting worse. Whatever happened to stoicism? It's something I really believe in. Feminism has probably added to this, all this pressure on men to act like women, it's disgusting. Talking does seem…

I fucking hate that pose. If you can't stand straight with normal posture and have a nice ass, you don't have a nice ass.

I saw an Aries Spears stand-up bit where he was talking about paying child support, and how he pays an extra $3k, not because it's needed, but because it was available. What does that even fucking mean? You can spare it so we're taking it... Crazy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
