Varies by state. Many states have no rape on the books - just sexual assault and/or criminal sexual conduct.

I think we have different definitions of fair. I am seeing a woman who is a full time student. If I take her to a fine dining establishment I would not expect her to pay half the bill (I can easily afford it, she is in debt). If we stop by a taco truck I would expect her to buy her own taco. This is where the pay gap comes into effect. If I was dating a woman who worked part time I would not expect her to be able to pay as much as someone who works full time.

To me the more men pay for dates argument is the same as the "pay gap". More women choose to work part time, so will have less money to pay for dates.

Maybe we are in different generations, but I feel no obligation to pay for drinks or dates. Last date I went I helped cook dinner at her place and had my movie ticket paid for me.

I try not to be. I hope you find solace in the advice you find here.

Sorry, I don't mean to troll. I would just like to keep this subreddit on the rights of men, and I do not want to bash on the opposite sex. No offense was intended, I just thought this comic came off as more bashing on women than promoting equality.

This is a repeat of my another reply but: No, it is just furthering stereotypes. This does nothing for Men's Rights causes. If this somehow effects divorce, or child custody please let us know. After that the major issues are circumcism and false rape. This also does not address either of those issues. Men's Rights is not about women hating, it is about egalitarianism.

Condoms tear and condoms fail. They are not 100%. I would not jump to conclusions on this one. That doesn't mean he's not the father, and that doesn't mean he didn't do it on purpose, but it does leave some room for doubt.

Not the parent, but I was in this situation before twice. One time I fished it out of her vagina (she said she was on the pill, and did not want a pregnancy) but if failed/missed I would of paid for Plan B afterwards. In the other I found it on the bed sheets (this one was also on the pill, but we trusted each other and I would of definitely supported any option she took). She had her period shortly afterwards - to both of our relief.

Just to pay devil's advocate: isn't this common in the world of organized crime? Could this be a sign of outside pressure or threats against those involved in the trial?

Where the hell are you pulling this pro-circusmcision downvote brigade from? Look at the comments here: anything expressing apathy or support of circumcision had negative karma while everything screaming mutilation is getting upvoted.

If you read the article it is actually more like, "I want to do data entry, but to use excel my workplace requires me to publicly take an accounting exam". She was a 50 year old woman who did not want to be part of the riot squad - why did she have to be tested for a position she had no intention of filling and they had no intention of putting her in?

I see your point, but I think certain professions and public servants should be held to a higher standard. I do think jail seems excessive, but I wouldn't have a problem with a fine and probation.

I would agree if it wasn't someone that can have present and future impact on one's life and livelihood. As long as they are in a position of authority there is always the shadow of coercion - whether implicit or implied.

The teacher is an authority figure that could impact one's present and future. This can easily create a situation of implied pressure. If it was a former teacher, or a teacher that wan't involved in grading or evaluation than maybe I would be completely okay with this.

I think the movement needs to move away from genital mutilation. Even aid groups in Africa dealing with female circumcision have moved to genital cutting instead. Mainly because people get pissed when you tell them their genitals are mutilated, and it actually hinders the spread of better practices.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
