start working on other areas of life. You'll likely find as well that if you work on your fitness, socialise a bit, do well in your career and enjoy your hobbies that you'll suddenly become a lot more attractive to women than when you were obsessively pursuing them as a sad, thirsty loser.

Oh, I agree there's a ton of fucked up stuff out there that could be causing the increased estrogen but I'm not sure why everyone here has just assumed estrogen in burger --> estrogen in us. My local pub does a great veggie burger that tastes better than any of the other stuff they can do so I have that most times I go (despite being a meat eater). I don't think it's negatively affecting me despite the panic here.

scientific theory has "debunked " It can't be a theory if it has been dunked. By definition a theory has to explain all the available facts. If it turns out to be incorrect when new facts come to light then the theory is discarded. If you're saying that there are higher average estrogen levels in the populace then you've got to try to find out why rather than leap to random assumptions about veggie-burgers. It's the making of wild assumptions that caused anti-vaxxers after all.

This. My country provided me with decent schooling, free healthcare, roads, clean water and all sort of stuff that I'm greatful for. Local and national charities have helped both my friends and family in various different ways. If I can give some of that back to society I often do. I don't like the obsession with selfishness that sometimes runs through this subreddit.

Yeah, I was getting fed up of being stuck in the office so went for walks at lunchtime. A co-worker noticed and asked to tag along which I couldn't think of a great excuse to say no to. Fast forward two months and the coworker's getting divorced because she doesn't 'feel it' with her husband anymore and keeps hinting that we should hook up. I don't think I hit on her at all but I underestimated myself apparently. Not good.

I get that and if she asks permission to go shopping, or to see friends, or to orgasm then fine but asking permission to go to your Aunt's funeral?? If my nan died I'm going to help out my family and fuck anyone who says otherwise. The idea of someone (like a boss) telling me no and that I might obey them seems disgusting on an instinctual level. I know women think differently but that level of obedience still makes my skin crawl.

My sister has a friend at uni who is a total slag and claims she was "made for sex". She came up in conversation recently about going through a bunch of guys one weekend and I said she sounded like a bit of a slag (to wind up my sister). The response: "She's not a slag! I'd agree in part but the US seems to favour the free market too much, often to the disadvantage of environmental or economic factors. The problem we have in the UK is that people on benefits (like some I work with) stand to lose a lot of money if they get a pay increase or work full time as the government retracts all benefits for earners over a certain amount per month. This actively discourages work and, as you say, is cancerous to the economy.

Don't invest if you don't get a dividend. Ignore that one guys. If you're trying to trade shares while hoping to rely on dividend income you could struggle. Some shares grow in value but give tiny dividends, some give huge ones but don't grow, some do neither. Just invest smartly (and let me know when you find a share that does both).

Yeah. If you work out you're not in the target market for BMI. I get fed up of people saying "I'm in great shape but my BMI says I'm overweight. It's all crap." They don't seem to realise that BMI is for couch potatoes trying to guestimate when they'll have their first heart attack.

I'll back you up on this one. I work with a woman who lives in a shitty house, drives a shitty car and goes on shitty holidays. She admits that she didn't take the scholarship she got to a better school, didn't take the promotions she's been offered and is responsible for her lot in life but she is sort of happy with/resigned to it. She aimed low and achieved her aims but she acknowledges that she is responsible.

Hospitals have a budget they have to stay under but really the savings don't come from efficiency but from bulk buying. If you have a huge nationalised healthcare system you can say to Pharmaceutical companies "You can supply the whole country if you can do X price" whereas in the US drugs and equipment are sold hospital by hospital with much of the cost passed onto the consumer.
