| 1 | Divorce..I’m 52 and have been divorced 3 times. I still feel like I have a future. Hang in you’ve got tons of runway left | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/07/25 11:29 PM |
| 1 | Finally GTFOIt will be all right. You can even start over again with family, etc, now you know what to avoid. Tough leaving the kids. I’m estranged from my 21 year old son which is killing me, so will focus on my 11 year old. Nothing easy, but I’m definitely optimistic and happy to be three months free of constant berating and coldness. Thanks for your service by the way. | 2 | Finally GTFOMines a bit different in that the finance moved out after 5 years. Been divorced twice before that. Maybe try to look at your predicament (no where to stay) as a positive - it will distract you a bit for a while. Don’t know how old you are, but I’m 52 and looking at being able to start over with much more wisdom at this stage. I travel for work a lot, and the times I get really down is when I get home after a long trip to a dark and empty house. But, trying to keep busy with positive activities | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/07/25 10:40 PM |
| 1 | Can't handle emotionsI’m 53 and been divorced 2 times already and my fiancé of 4 years just moved out in May. I know I will never hear from her or see her again. I’m in a lot of pain, remorse and regret. But I also believe this to be a rebirth. Maybe this second part of life will bring forth wisdom and love and peace. Good luck to you and take it easy | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/07/25 02:10 AM |
| 1 | Meeting womenI’m going through it too. I’m 53, and have been divorced twice already. I’m looking at the solitude as a rebirth - I’m in isolation a lot and it can be painful at times. I’m hoping to transcend the pain, and break through to a better place. I’d suggest trying to join some other types of organizations. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/07/25 11:12 PM |
