Agree with your assessment, fits the definition of Beta perfectly... Just the terms are a little more clear

I'm inclined to agree, I used the term beta with that definition in mind.

First, the word is commodification. Thanks. Poorly educated white male here. Precise vocabulary isn't one of my privileges apparently. I'll try to edit. permanent, non-refundable marriage 1.0 is the only method by which a woman can cash in on her youth, beauty, and womb without being turned into a commodity. It's sad, really. Trading your cunt for a roof in this temporary manner wrecks them. But... They KNOW it's temporary. They went in eyes wide open. Men in marriages often find they were only …

No shit. To adopt the language of feminism, "if you don't like abortions, don't get one"... If you don't like sexualized living arrangements, don't get into one. Sheesh.

Dude - how many job interviews have you conducted as an interviewer? That is to ask, how many people have you hired? How many job interviews have you been subject to as the interviewee? I have, over the years, interviewed about 500 people and hired about 20 of them. I'm not saying what you've written is wrong, but if somebody followed your advice to the letter, I would write the guy off as a Try-Hard Wannabe who's "all hat and no cattle."

A lot of men make that assumption. I did. One day in my early 20s, my GF at the time broke up with me, because I hadn't proposed to her within her preset timeframe. I assumed that we were eventually going to get married (it was an automatic setting) and I mentioned it to mutual friends. So she comes back, and I was so happy just to get fucking again, I took her back. But in doing so, we were now engaged even though I didn't technically propose. So after a few "discussions" I ended up proposing. …

I had a roommate for a while - an Army buddy, we were in Afghanistan together. He ended up getting divorced, and wifey took the kids and he had to pay child support. But he was SOF at the time of the divorce. The judge / divorce court / system / lawyers told him to get out of SOF and into a military desk job so that he could provide a more stable life for his kids - a young daughter and a teenage son. So he quits SOF, and loses his Operators' allowances and bonuses (which are substantial). But t…

Debt servicing doesn't come from a magic fund called GDP - the GDP includes all economic activity in the country, including private transactions. Government debt is paid through government revenue, which is far, far less than 17.94 trillion. You're comparing apples to orchards.

Don't know - both of my slim, athletic FWBs are pretty enthusiastic about getting my D. You can get banged all you want honey, but that's all you'll ever get. No man of quality will get into a committed relationship with a fat sweaty pig. If he's a quality man, you ain't never meeting the parents, youknowwhatimsayin'? If you ever do want a man's commitment, the best you'll be able to do is eventually settle for a weak insecure loser who resigns himself to settling for you. Congratulations!

Ladies; You'll know you're in a conversation with a Red Pill man because all your girlfriends are so fucking jealous that he's even just paying attention to you. Your skinnyfat gay male bestie (who's really not gay, but really, he'll find the right woman someday - just not you, amirite?) will tell you that the Red Pill man is a jerk, he'll cock-block you or go huff in a corner and get passive aggressive around the Red Pill man. Disagree about the hair thing; but only in some cases. Nizoral and Minoxidil started regrowing hair on my head - I was getting very light thinning at the crown, and it only started in my 40s. But it worked for me. Now, if you're going total bare-ass Jean Luc Picard bald in your 20s or something, it probably won't work for you. You are destined to be bald. In that case the drugs are a waste, so get a pair of clippers and a good razor and rock the cueball look.

^ good response from sprouu. Some other suggestions: If you're prone to busting too soon, jack it before your date. Don't go out with a loaded gun. fair point, you are absolutely right. Not an excuse but there are reasons why I missed that clue. +1 on PRK. If you are at all in any sort of active lifestyle (boxing, contact sports, hell - even soccer) you won't want those cornea flaps dislodging. PRK takes longer to heal but the longer-term structural integrity of the cornea is preserved far better. I noticed the same thing with sensitivity for an extended time. Also noticed that after about 9 years, my eyesight is again beginning to degrade. But still worth it, and still superior to LASIK in my opinion.

I know some have criticised the question, but it's interesting to me as an intellectual exercise if nothing more. It's personal too. I would have criteria other guys wouldn't, and be flexible on some things others would insist upon. But here's my math: Women in Ottawa between the ages of 25-44: 125,775 http://archive.is/A79R3 46.11% of the total population of women over 15, are single. Thus, inferring that women between 25-44 are single at an average rate, that means that within the 25-44 demogr…

Western civilization is like a sick man. Islam is like a common disease. Multiculturalism is like AIDS. Our nationalism and patriarchy are like antibodies. The common disease isn't strong enough to kill the host but when our antibodies are degraded due to the AIDS, that common disease becomes fatal.

Usually there's a notice in the lobby of the condo building announcing "Parking spot for sale". I would suspect that the majority of condo buildings have rules against selling (but not necessarily renting) parking spots to non-residents or non-owners of apartment units. So if you're not living / owning a unit in the building, you probably won't find out they're for sale generally, nor would you be able to buy one. Some folks rarely list parking spots on mls.ca a Canadian real estate listing webs…

First one came with my condo. Second one was $27,500 bought it for my girlfriend at the time. When that relationship ended, I started renting it out and was surprised I was profiting about forty bucks a month. Rent is about 180 / month, condo fees are 110 / month, tax about 30 / month. Insurance is dicey, I have owners insurance and my property title covers all my spots and there is no limit in the policy to parking spots. I have a 9-5 job, plus a part time job a couple nights a week. But I also have passive income. I own multiple parking spots in my condo building. I live close to the local university campus, as well as office buildings downtown. I rent these out to non residents to cover both property tax and the extra condo fees I pay for additional spots. I make a small profit on each spot every month. The great thing about being a parking spot landlord is that it's easy to get into. Investment property can be…

You are misunderstanding my point 180 degrees off. SHOULD every body be paid the same? No. They shouldn't. The notion that all people are of equal worth is a load of horse shit. And agreed about corporations, I should have used the term employers instead.
/r/TheRedPill17/02/16 10:07 PM

Simply explained by game theory. Unless ALL corporations pay workers roughly equally and fairly, the economic effects you mention are inevitable anyways. So what incentive is there to increase salary, when Burmese sweat shops and illegal alien labour will still exist? As a company, you just set the course for bankruptcy instead. Individualistic strategies in a zero sum game. It's the only logical choice in any free society. The alternative is compulsion and state control. Great in theory, histor…

The priests and clergy are just other monkeys administering beatings to violators of ancient rules... To what extent do they truly understand their founders' intent? Why is it necessary for Jews and Muslims to ritually slaughter their meat? Because God said so? I'm sure there was, at one point, a reason such as an ancient version of a health code or something... But now the TRUE reason why is long forgotten

Urban legend has it that there was a study done once, on chimps. 5 of them were put in a room with a treat hanging from the ceiling, and a ladder or a rope leading up to it. Instead he should have simply refused shit projects if he didn't want to do them as the client specified. Atlas Shrugged was 1000x better.

I agree with you about Myth of Male Power and Rational Male. So I'll name five different ones... 1. Enjoy the Decline, Aaron Clarey. Literally, this one changed my life. If you live in North America, this book is a must-read. 2. Brave New World, Aldous Huxley. This book is a description of the ultimate beta society. 3. We Were Soldiers Once and Young, Lt. Gen. Harold G. Moore. This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest depictions of the art of leadership. Or, you could watch the Mel Gibson movi…

That's the way I've seen it on social media. Friends who, just a couple years ago would never say anything bad about feminism or unchecked immigration of a culture with late iron-age values, they are now questioning and distancing themselves from their previous positions. Meanwhile, I get way less shit for saying stuff that used to be unsayable and would result in rebuke from the "correct thinkers".

If you believe in socialism, you're still trapped in a beta-male / female mindset. If you think that you deserve somebody else's money to be redistributed, you're a freeloader - the opposite of an independent actor with his own agency. On the other side of the coin, if you feel that your money (which you traded for a set period of your finite life that you'll never get back) is desreved by those who haven't earned it, then you're a slave to imposed guilt. Red Pill men, Alphas, and MGTOW are - by…

If you're given a slightly demeaning nickname, the only solution is Agree and Amplify, then give an equally undignified one to the guy who "dubbed" you. I was inspired by this post. Yesterday, was at the airport. There's a series of couches in a lounge area, arranged in squares around coffee tables. About a minute later, her presumably husband, comes up and says "excuse me, I was sitting there," obviously wanting me to get up and leave. "No problem, you can sit here," I reply, motioning to th…

Funny you mention their mother. I had a date with a woman, and at the end I told her I didn't see any potential for her and I. She got angry because apparently she missed her mom's birthday or retirement or something, to meet me. Absolutely, if a woman likes you, SHE will remove or mitigate any barriers. You may not even be told about it either, she will just do it. If you have to do the mitigation, then you aren't Plan A.

We often caveat our "don't date single moms" policy by saying that widows are excluded. Having dated a widow (no kids), I can offer first-hand experience here. Her deceased hubby was core to her identity. She would explain away shitty behaviour by citing the tragedy of her loss. It was a get out of jail free card, as well as a pity generator. Not saying that I wouldn't ever date a widow again, but you are absolutely right, fire some women widowhood is an emotional tool in their social toolkit.

Just a simple goodbye its over and then cutting contact is what I recommend. It's easier than pretending you are something you're not. But... If you are dead set on pretending, you could try faking be gay. Maybe suck a few cocks, stretch your anus so wide that you have to wear a diaper or butt plug all day, then go get AIDS somewhere. Hm. Looking at the options, maybe just a simple goodbye its over and then cutting contact is better.

Best analogy I've heard is that flirtation for women is like job offers for men. Offer a McDonald's job to a lawyer, he's gonna be insulted. The fact that you THOUGHT he was worthy of a McDonald's job is an insult to his self-perception. Same deal with broads and flirtation from men they see as lower value than themselves - she will take it as an insult that you could even THINK you had a chance with her.

Mass deportation and cultural cleansing, agreed 100% would be ideal. But because it requires governments to act, it won't happen. If European citizens were take matters into their own hands, deportation wouldn't be a tool in their arsenal. Certainly not advocating it, no. I'm saying such an act would change my mind about the weakness of European men. My point is, European voters invited tribalism into their countries, they shouldn't be surprised when they get a tribal conflict on their hands. And unless you are unflinching and ruthless, you will lose at tribal warfare.

Interesting - I'm heading in the opposite direction. I sort of went MGTOW initially upon waking up, (hence the username) but now I'm definitely drifting closer to TRP in my outlook. It's not caring about pussy, but as I pursue self-improvement, I'm getting more female attention as a natural byproduct. It behooves me to understand how to deal with that attention, and when it's worth exploiting.

Went to Oktoberfest in Munich this year. Expected it to be easy to meet broads, but everybody was in their little groups at their tables. Dudes were mate guarding, female friends cock blocking. Fun time regardless, but without having reserved tables, if you find a place for your group to sit you means you don't really get much of a chance to circulate. Also, I drank too much. Anyways, Oktoberfest isn't representative of the city all year, so my input isn't really that useful I suppose.

I only watched one or two of her shows, after that I refused to go. She hatred me for that too, but I didn't like seeing her degrade herself that way. No hair loss - yet. Well, I've been thinning out up there since before I was taking it, I'm in my early 40s. But it doesn't appear to have accelerated. As for the estrogen blocker - dunno. Absolutely. I'm on "Clomid" myself, differences in gains is significant. Improves mood too. But monitor your estrogen levels as well, they CAN spike with this treatment. I take a half dose of estrogen blocker one a week and get new bloodwork done every 3 months to monitor.

Anecdote time, from the deeply blue pill early 90s. In my early 20s my gf was pressuring me to propose. Being trapped one day, she wanted to know why I hadn't even picked out a ring yet. Thinking on my feet to avoid a shitstorm argument, I asked her why she got an engagement gift (a ring) and the man got nothing. She was sort of feminist, so the appeal to equality convinced her. So she asked me if I wanted a ring too, and I declined. She further probed, asking what I wanted then. So I told her I…

"Assault rifles" aren't illegal in Canada. You can buy a Robinson Arms XCR, an IWI Tavor, a Chinese T-97, an M-14, all unrestricted. No registry, just email a .jpg of your PAL to an online retailer, or buy one second hand on the Canadiangunnutz equipment exchange. http://www.huntinggearguy.com/rifle-reviews/top-10-non-restricted-black-rifles-in-canada/ There are plenty of seriously lethal guns in Canada, and a very high level of gun ownership... but we don't have the same rate of violence.

I'm strongly atheist myself, but most of society is too mentally weak to question reality, they need it fed to them. And if we need to force feed society a religion to man our men the fuck up, militant Christianity is probably the best choice since its the most compatible with pre-feminism western values. Wrong. You give people too much credit for rationality. Most people are too stupid or unmotivated to question reality, it needs to be fed to them. Polygamy directly contributes to jihad. For every affluent male with four wives, there are three surplus males with no sexual outlet and no possible descendants. And infidelity is fucking lethal so even the occasional lucky fuck for beta Abdul isn't a societal safety valve. The frustration is real. Seen it first hand, I've brought about as many jihadis to Allah, as I've brought women to orgasm over the years. I've had many discussions with old Afghan Mujahadeen, Pakistani enlisted, Somalis and B…

Horseshit. The testosterone is still produced, and when it travels down the vas deferens it reaches the cut point, and enters the interior of the scrotum. It is there absorbed into your body, just add androgel is absorbed through skin. Don't post about things you don't understand.

My advice to her? "Divorce him right now, while he's impoverished. Because it's inevitable anyways, and if you wait until he's back on his feet, you'll get a divorce settlement that is far more generous than you actually deserve. It's best for you to leave with nothing, and he can move on, recover, and flourish on his own or with a genuine love." (the last bit about love is bullshit, but ya know - when in Rome, do as the Romans...)

I've done three tours in Afghanistan and meet more Afghan than I care to recall. But blaming bacha bazi (chai boys) on war is naive. They have been fucking boys for one thousand years. It's polygamy that caused the pedophilia. One rich dude gets four wives, three men get no sexual access in a religious society where adultery is fatal. Blame Muhammad for permitting formal polygamy. Islam permits one man to marry four wives... If he can afford to support all of them. And because it's the women's families who decide the suitor, ugly and old men get second, third and fourth wives if they are rich enough... (great for beta bux, right?). But for every man who has four wives, now society has three surplus men who can't marry anybody, or even get any sexual outlet because adultery is fatal. Luckily Islam has a program designed to occupy those surplus males: Jihad. A man in Islam …

It is definitely a big deal. If a person's parents are first cousins, he/she will probably get lucky, as their parents only share 12.5% of their genes. But as a social phenomenon over time, the probability of genetic problems increases. Women categorize us. We can do the same to them. They view men as having only one of three distinct roles: Alpha for sperm and tingles, Beta for resources and emotional baggage handler, and finally invisible sexless entities that could crawl off to a corner and die, just do it quietly and out of sight because ew, whatever. so we can similarly slot women into categories of plate, long term relationship, or post wall asexual crone. Absolutely wrong. Islam is a fatalistic religion, what happens to your life for good or ill is up to Allah. Free will, transcending your lot in life and personal accountability are all an anathema to Islam. News flash: Just treating women like junk doesn't equal Red Pill. Accepting that you control your own fate, not some shitty 7th century made up god, is Red Pill.

Jeffrey Deslisle spied on Canada and our allies for only a couple thousand bucks a month. Intelligence analysts make pay similar to plain old bureaucrats... They are just government workers after all. Field agents likely earn similar to military officers or cops, though there would be travel... To 3rd world dictatorships or war torn shit holes. It has nothing to do with being uncool, or fear of being uncool. The issue is you risk handing rhetorical ammunition to your adversary. If you can't understand that then you are too dim for me to bother explaining further.

Why? They do such a good job of discrediting themselves. As soon as a piece of feminist propaganda gets outed as initiating on TRP or the MRM (and there is always a chance of detection) then a narrative is born that all Poe's law worthy feminist nonsense becomes "not real feminism". I see no upside in artificially accelerating a trend that has it's own inertia.

I interview people for jobs. I bust women lying to me frequently, haven't ever had a guy lie to my face (to my knowledge). When I bust them they resort to more lies. I encourage them down that path to see how far they will go, just to make them squirm. A dude I work with had a traumatic brain injury in Afghanistan. He nearly died, extended coma, now stutters and forgets shit all the time. A friend has bad cerebral palsy. Retarded and physically disabled. I keep these people in my life because in great part because they don't seek pity. They don't want it, and I don't give it. Pity robs both the giver and receiver of their dignity. Pity is enabling behaviour (a term borrowed from addiction treatment) for failure. Pity is toxic.

I think we agree... I mentioned elsewhere in this thread, I now have a mercenary attitude towards altruism, kindness or "contributing to society". If it benefits me, good. If it benefits somebody other than me as well, equally good. If it benefits somebody else but not me in any way, fuck it. I didn't always think that way, but both the state above me and society around me have proven they don't deserve any effort or sacrifice on my part. Effort and sacrifice is for me only now.

Fair enough - I only draw on my experience (military) when "replaceable" or "making the world a better place" come up in conversation. I understand that there are a multitude of ways to contribute to society. I still don't see much point in being willfully motivated to contribute though. I have a completely mercenary attitude towards altruism. I do good things for myself (including finishing my military service) but not for others. I didn't always think that way. But I learned over time.

This is why socialism is so toxic. It seeks to remove pain (any adversity whatsoever) from the human experience. For 20,000 years, we bred survivors. We evolved to get endorphins from overcoming adversity. Remove the adversity, remove the pain, and we become weak and cowardly.

My situation exactly. In a few years I will retire from the military with a pension, but also have healthy six figure earning potential in the civilian world thanks to a relatively rare skill set the military gave me. Women (yes, even the ones on their 30s) judge me for my middle class salary and relatively low status job (I'm an NCO) today. All the better for me in the long run though, I've learned to adapt by becoming inaccessible fire anything other than sex.

Early 40's, childless never married (but lots of STRs and 5x LTRs thus far, all of which ended). Spun some plates for a while, but got tired of the effort involved and refocused on myself. He pulled this same stunt when he shat all over MGTOW. Dudes who have been destroyed in divorce, sent to jail over false allegations, had their kids taken away, or had their careers destroyed by women - he's implied they're just fucking whiners. In reality, MGTOW don't pay for seminars or buy pickup books. Now he's set his sights on TRP. Not surprised at all to be honest.

I can see your perspective - I've done a LOT of travel. I'm in my 40s and have visited more places than most people, for both business and for personal tourism. To be honest, the more I see of the world, the less I want to see of the world. Poor hygene, shitty cultural practises, diseases, poverty... It gets tiring after a while. Nothing compares to where I'm from - though admittedly I'm from Canada so it's a high bar to match in terms of first-world comforts. We truly are spoiled.

One can be, but does not have to be both Alpha and Beta. I am both. Few men are Alpha in their own right - the rest are only so in the eyes of a woman or less frequently, other men. Different woman, different perception. My two most recent FWBs know me as an Alpha. But my exes, and the entire circle of hens that are my exes' friends, know me as a Beta, and they will never shake that perception. One can take active measures, or have a natural inclination towards discouraging Beta perception in ne…

There are a lot of RP men who eagerly fuck married women & moms. In order to do so they either have to ignore, or rationalize away the damage they do. Or they don't care, which sort of makes them sociopathic. Yet it was not just the Alpha who fucked up your life. Your BB dad and two selfish women did too.

de-yuppify your place and make it more interesting? Perhaps the residual blue-pill banality in your yuppie-ass condo is what's causing chicks to go into beta lockdown mode. Excellent advice here. Yes, I furnished my place when I was a blue-pill chump. It looks like an eq3 catalogue - "modernist" trendy, etc. Love the comics idea, got a ton of 'em to frame. You misunderstand me; the motive for selling wouldn't be to get laid; that would be a side effect. As it is, I BOUGHT the place by putting pussy on a pedestal. Selling would be undoing that mistake. Keeping it because I have it now and invested a lot already is an example of the Sunk Cost Fallacy. Mortgage + condo fees + property tax = about 50% of my after-tax salary. That limits my ability to travel somewhat (though I still can, it's just frugal travel) and my wealth is too concentrated in one…

rent out this condo Being a landlord sucks. Done it before, more trouble than it can be worth sometimes. Also, the size of the place makes it a very niche market - most who could afford to rent it, could afford to buy it. So it could sit unoccupied for months or years.

Naive, butt-hurt dudes who get their anti-feminist fantasies about Islam coming to "save the day" and re-establish proper gender roles (or whatever), they need to realize that men are utilities in nearly every society. My advice to you: you should abandon Islam, it's a delusion (like any other religion) but it's not going to get you anywhere in Canada. Beta game absolutely works. You just have to overcome their desire to "take it slow" because they don't want to look like a slut. ASD multiplied x10. So you need to convince them, without being too overt, that resources only come after sex. For me, I tell them I've had bad experiences with gold diggers in the past and I'm not looking for another one. That a strong relationship is impossible without a healthy sex life. To be "progressive" one must operate on the assumption that history is linear. If you progress towards utopia, then any action to get there quicker is good. But if you view history as cyclical, then rapid progress is necessary when things are shitty, but you should intentionally slow down when things are good - hence conservatism. Sadly for progressives, there's plenty of evidence that history is not in fact linear. Societies rise, fall, and rise again. So they're operating on a false assumption…

Fair enough - I'm the Canadian Army, and can only comment on the US units I saw firsthand when I was on multiple deployments. I'll admit I never worked with the 82nd. But overall, I found the US Army as an institution overall to be very procedure based, not results based. USMC was different.

The various SF / SOF units and the USMC are probably the last bastions of true warrior culture in the West. Conventional army (a.k.a. the "Big Green Machine") is too fucking procedure-driven. Definitely - Nicola Tesla, the Wright Brothers, Leonardo DaVinci, Aurthur Schopenhauer... So many men of accomplishment delved into their pursuit and turned away from what was irrelevant. What do they have in common? They were all bachelors. Married chumps don't get to spend their time pursuing their mission. Hell, even include Steve Jobs. He broke up with his GF before he founded Apple, and only got married in '91, long after he 'accomplished his mission' so to speak.

Russel Brand had to develop his charismatic delivery because the nonsense that erupts out of the mush he still has for a brain (after two lifetimes' worth of serious drug abuse), can't influence anybody on its intellectual merit. I'll credit the guy for finding a way in life despite his self-inflicted retardation though. If you can hold frame and exhibit amused mastery like him, but back it up with even just an ounce of logic, you can be a God in this world. Ignorance is bliss, and Brand has tha…

This toxic hag isn't into your friend at all most likely. I expect that she's "with" him just to be closer to you... Either to make you jealous, or to provide a pretext to communicate with you. The next phase (perhaps it's already started?) is when she FINALLY internalizes your rejection, so she decides to get revenge against you by breaking your friendship with your mate, and then breaking his heart. Yeah, it's fucking cold man. But it serves her purpose two ways - it gets back at you, punishes…

Excellent post - this is PRECISELY how I define the end game of the Red Pill as being. Others may disagree, and that's fine. But for me, this is a recipe for deep satisfaction with life. I would add one point; You don't have to be fucking a new broad every week to adopt this strategy, but you DO have to have your shit together. Fitness, personal success (however you define it), financial stability (at least enough that you're not worried about money, whether that's through limiting your expenses…

Saskatchewan is pretty sane, compared to the rest of the country. Decent economic opportunity. Alberta's oil bubble just popped, so there's a property crash going on right now (more affordable) but good luck finding a job in a downturn.

change tenancy law to allow victims of domestic violence or sexual assault to break leases with less than 60 days notice. There are a lot of "2nd order effects" that crop out of this one. I sure as shit ain't gonna rent my property to a couple now. Nor a woman who might have a dude move in at some point. And definitely not a lesbian couple, they abuse the shit out each other even more than heteros do. Any of these could easily declare "abuse" when they want to just pick up and fuck off and break…

I re-read my post, and you're right - it's not clear... Sometimes I think faster than I can type, I should have been more measured and explicit. The flaw is that it doesn't consider the opportunity cost to relationships (or game for that matter). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opportunity_cost What are you NOT doing while you're busy spending time with a female? Fair point - I can attract women, but it takes effort on my part (active gaming). They don't come seeking me out like they would a jacked gym-bro, a wealthy betabux, or a high-social proof club DJ or popular musician. So how much effort should I exert on game if I'm not willing to abandon or alter my interests to ones that appease women? The contributing factor to this problem is, most women are rarely worth putting that level of effort into attracting. That's the metric that MGTOW measure - wha…

But guys who are like the man I used to be ARE the target audience - and I feel that this misrepresents the choice I made in life. A lot of MGTOW are accomplished former players. Not that I GAF about what Tomassi thinks, but other dudes who may have an opportunity to refocus on themselves might miss a great opportunity to improve their lives if they heed half-baked advice based on a misrepresentation.

I would estimate about 70% of the MGTOW I encounter online are former married men with a moderate SMV, while at least 10% are seriously successful high-SMV players who eventually realized that these broads just aren't worth the effort. So while you are right, you are describing a small minority of men who self identify as MGTOW.

Rational Male writes: "...Make your mission not your woman your imperative, but in that mission be the Man a woman will want to be associated with." There is a fundamental flaw in this reasoning. Allow me to illustrate: I became a MGHOW following years of dating, short term relationships and one long term relationship. Only then did I rediscover my mission(s) in life; competing in biathlon, drumming in a jazz band, learning philosophy and eventually being able to limit my time in the office by d…

hhkCalgary is a pretty solid commentator in the MGTOW community. A lot of MGTOW commentary is observational (e.g. "Sandman", the "MayorofMGTOWN") or philosophical ("Spetznaz", "Stardusk", "Barbarossa"). The balance is delicate however. Too much alpha and she won't feel like the relationship is secure in the long-term. Too much beta and she'll lose attraction for you. Yep - When I first found TRP, I went too alpha on a potential LTR and she contrived a reason to eject after about 2 months. The balance is key. Good point, both you and RP_Since_Birth are absolutely right - introversion does not equal social awkwardness. I'm still socially adept - I just DGAF about other people's need to interact with me. But I will say that an extended period of extreme work / focus altered my psychology for a long-term period afterwards. I craved social interaction before that period, and within half a year of intense work in an austere environment, that was completely gone and hasn't really come back in 4 years.
