I don't know what dialect of English you speak, so that "don't do this" can be interpreted as a demand. If I had said "I have decided that..." that would be a demand. See, this is why capitalism never works. You happen to snag a great name, and because you're here first, its impossible for other subreddits to open up and attract people. Therefore, you can force your agenda (ex. http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/foqdw/the_think_before_you_link_effort_is_not_endorsed/) onto other people …

I'm not dictating policy, I'm making a suggestion. I just have a problem with you implying "you're not a mod, therefore you don't get to suggest things".

The porn industry Because the porn industry doesn't make skill-less women into almost-millionaires...

1 and 3. I don't save links, but this (http://www.the-spearhead.com/2011/02/19/university-kills-computer-science-major-but-keeps-womens-studies/) is the top post right now, and it talks about "feminist and leftist indoctrination". 2- Because this movement is supposed to transcend normal politics. 4- Does being a moderator mean that you own the subreddit?

Of course they're not all the same, but I'm sick of people posting "see, even MSNBC/BBC/NPR thinks that this is absurd" or "see, even Fox News/Daily Mail/WSJ thinks that this is absurd".

I feel that women should also be subject to selective service, if such a system exists. However, I don't think that selective service should exist in a modern society. As for actual military, women should be given the right to serve in combat roles, but it should not be given as an option ("you can serve in combat only if you want to") because men do not have the same option.

Men have a higher risk of, you know, dying in the military. Something like 95% of combat deaths are men. Yay talking points!

...I don't really find this offensive. I mean, once on CNN one of the male anchors (I don't remember which one) tossed to a female reporter standing in a grocery store by saying "nice melons... lying there behind you!" Nothing happened. In fact, I found it amusing.

are you actually afraid of the average woman as a physical threat? Yes, because they can hit us, and we can't hit them back.

I did not say that China is more free then the United States, I said: China is more free then the United States in a respect So of course you are right (except that I can't think of anything that the Chinese would find odd, while Westerners would be OK with) but I was saying that the US is supposed to be much more free then China, so we shouldn't even have to make these comparisons.

I would (jokingly) bring it up. If they get pissed that you would suggest such a thing, quit and sue them. Then you will no longer have problems with paying for college.

Chinese American here. I think what he's trying to say is that when China is more free then the United States in a respect, there is something seriously wrong with the United States.
