| 1 | Why is noone talking about thisI am all for equality but I have to say the reason we are out of the equation is because it is the womans body and she is directly tied to these decisions in ways the man is not. IANAL but I dont think that a paternal father would be refused custody if the mother gave up her rights. I am sure there is a ton of what ifs and nuance to this but that just makes writing laws that much more difficult.
