Yeah, I've found the only way to do something I'm scared of doing is to say "fuck it" and push through. You'll feel much better when you do.

What does this have to with her gender at all? Just a crazy person doing some crazy shit. I'm done with sub. It's just turned into another r/TD surrogate shithole.

And executing innocent people is even more absurd, but we still do it. Obviously in a perfect world the guilty would be convicted and the innocent acquitted, but unfortunately it's not that simple.

The terms of one's probation can vary greatly. Often it will stipulate that one needs permission to leave the state, but I've never heard of being confined to a single county. But judges do have a lot of leeway with setting the terms.

Theoretically, but good luck finding a lawyer that would take that case. It's just not worth the money it costs to sue. Maybe a class action lawsuit, but that's not very realistic either. I think it would be hard to prove that it is not bathwater. Did these people also test real bathwater as a control to show it does contain testable amounts of human DNA? What constitutes bathwater? How long does one have to bathe in the water for it to be considered bathwater? 30 seconds, a minute, 5 minutes? T…

Kirsten Gillibrand isn't getting denied here. She's the junior senator from New York, the senior being Chuck Schumer. She's just paying lip service to her supporters, ie women. She doesn't care what some rando on Twitter says. She is very much about PR and getting her name/brand out there. I would not be surprised if she's gearing up for a presidential run in the relatively near future (or she just doesn't want to lose her seat).

Damn, that's a very expensive ticket. I was a pretty crappy driver (or just reckless) when I first started driving. I got a decent amount of speeding tickets, but haven't gotten a single ticket in at least 3 or 4 years. And the last one was a stupid $25 seatbelt ticket I got, literally <1 minute after I pulled out of the Wendy's drive-thru with a frost still in my hand. I was so pissed I went to court, told the judge my story, and he threw it out. (BTW you should always go to court. They will at…

The average person is shitty. This 100%. If my old mentor taught me anything it was this, "most people are worthless". Not saying that to be mean or put myself above others, it's just true. Most people are thoroughly unexceptional and are generally not great people. We'd live in a lot different world if people gave a shit.

Depends on how interested you are and how much you like the speaker. I used to watch conference videos like these regularly. Nick Sparks' stuff isn't bad. Not really my style, but he's a good speaker, and he has some good points and relevant experience. I enjoyed watching James Marshall's stuff, personally. The 21 convention has some pretty good speakers and videos though. In retrospect, I'm almost positive I've this exact video before, lol.

You have a point but you're vastly oversimplifying it. I would challenge you to "manipulate the jury like children." You can't just tell a jury something and expect them to believe because there's another attorney arguing against you. They make arguments rooted with evidence. All 12 jurors do have to agree on the verdict. You're right, ideally no innocent person should have to prison for something they didn't do and I agree there should be a higher standard. But there's no way to prove someone u…

I just don't understand why you post this here and continue to defend her. And even try to convince people that she's beautiful. What is your point in all this? I don't give a fuck if she's pretty (IMO she's not), or if she didn't "understand the finality of death." She may or may not have but that's not the fucking point. Sometimes I think I'm boring, but wow. May I ask what you do that's so interesting? Everything that you listed is interesting. Different and new experiences are interesting. Anything that you can bring to a conversation and say "yeah I did this, it was so fun," what ever that kind of stuff is for you. Going to school and "partying" is not interesting.

That's true. Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't realize my "umm"'s were so off-putting. It's not that bad, just think that would be an easy improvement. I didn't realize the video ended abruptly. Yeah, it seems like your sentence got cut off.

I'm fairly successful with women, but I'm still subbed here so I can offer my insight on seduction. The topic still interests me even though I'm in a committed relationship. The discussion benefits from people of all levels of success or skill.

Not bad. I agree with your general sentiment but I disagree with some of your points. Buddhist monks are content because they've devoted themselves to their faith. They've sacrificed having a partner and family (some of them do have children if they became a monk later in life). I just don't think that's a good example for why one doesn't need a girlfriend. Try editing out the parts where you say "umm." And why does the video stop abruptly?

Yeah my thoughts exactly when I read the title. I mean, I don't know anything about UK prison system, but in the US, only prisoners in maximum security prisons are in their cell for 23 hours a day. And to people saying a man who beat a child to death would be in a supermax prison, probably not. Not if he was charged with manslaughter which is more or less the equivalent of culpable homicide, even if it was a greater charge, they'd almost certainly be in a normal state prison, not a maximum secur…

You have a point but I think it depends on how committed your relationship is. If you're happily married your spouse would probably not drop everything on a whim for a celebrity. And even you're relationship isn't at that level, what are the odds that would actually happen? 1 in a billion? I feel like celebrities don't tend to date "normal" women. I also don't like to play that "what if" game, there's just no point in dreading every possible scenario that could go wrong in a relationship. Just p…

"Lol Thats hilarious, she beat you like a pinata" Seriously? Domestic abuse is funny if it happens to a man? This is sad, because it would of been a completely different story if the genders or roles were reversed. First of all, the man would be in jail. But instead the victim is shamed as if they did something wrong or it's somehow comical. Can you imagine the response one would get if one were to ask a female victim of abuse what they did wrong "to cause this"? This is just fucking backwards.
