In what universe is anyone (especially men) valued for how much sex they have or don't have? I'm a man, I don't care about sex, I've not had a lot of sexual relationships, not only don't I actively seek out sex, I've turned it down. I'm not really celibate or single, I just don't care. I'm in a LTR and we fool around sometimes but usually she initiates it.

Well woman raping men is really rare so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Laws surrounding parental issues when it comes to rape, at least in the US are pretty shitty for men and women. Women get more rights in this department because women are the ones physically affected by it all. What's in the best interest of the child always trumps the rights of both parents in these situations. Sucks but that's life. Paternity fraud and other issues are also a lot rarer than you want to believe so like you'r…

1.Men can't choose if they want to have children? No, men mostly can't choose whether or not they provide financial support for the children they irresponsibly helped create. Unless you were forced into having sex with the woman or she tricked you somehow, then no you don't lack bodily autonomy to reproduce. 2. There are several countries that conscript both men and women. That aside, doesn't your red pill ideology preach that men should be providers? Why does that bother you. Get your ass out t…

I don't know, I have a deep emotional connection to my hand, one that's never really been matched by any woman I've been with.

But that's not what the term is meant for lol. It's supposed to be about guys who do all that shit for women they're not even with and who don't even give a crap about them.

All human relationships beyond bonds of blood are transactional at some level. You're not friends with people who don't add value to your life are you and you certainly aren't likely to fuck or marry them. Like my sister is a junkie and does fucked up shit but she'll always be my sister and I'll always love her. I don't actively make friends or lovers with junkies. They wouldn't likely add anything positive to my life, they'd almost certainly be a negative.

I mean....if you were a rapist would you broadcast it to other people? How do I really know if any of my friends or colleagues have raped someone I doubt think they'd tell me.

I don't know if I'd say a guy showing up to a club with a bunch of women is really flexing desirability. I think the more likely response would probably be "that guy must be gay". To answer your question though, there is nothing wrong with being friends with women, there is nothing wrong with being friends with women you have an unrequited love, but tbh if you express your feelings for this friend and she rejects you, you should be prepared for the likely reality that your friendship is over or …

What's the purpose of dressing sexy to go out with friends? Particularly since you're already taken. At the end of the day I think you should wear whatever you want but yea I think he's entitled to an opinion about it. Women judge how men are dressed. Would you be happy if your husband dressed like a slob when you guys went out? Probably not. It's not exactly analogous to this situation but my point is you likely have an opinion about how your man dresses .

I've only shot my shot with 2 women in my life. 1 turned out to be a lesbian and the other I had over a decade long relationship with. Every other woman (a pretty small list to be frank) I've been with either sexually, a date, or relationship they're the ones who initiated. My current gf asked me out and we are going on 5 years now. I've only had a handful of partners in my life, I'm not really all that attractive (although some people obviously think otherwise) I'm fine with that.I can be conte…

So you think befriending people is the best way to find a gf/future spouse? Do you only befriend women you're physically attracted to? No, I would think becoming friends with people is not how you're supposed to find a partner nor is it probably common and definitely not the best way. If you're someone who uses friendship to find a potential mate then you're contributing to the idea women have that men who develop feelings for them were disingenuous all along.

It's funny this comes up because today I was reading about the women and children's first protocol is a historical myth. It was never a universal rule or law, and in 2012 a study found that statistically women fared significantly worse in disasters examined than men, and crew members fared better than passengers. Women and children first? Just a myth, researchers say - CBS News https://share.google/v81hZeszlEixHUz9L

So you're really arguing that there aren't women who are happy to be single because there are some out that almost no one will touch? That's a hot take. I have no doubt there are many women out there who are tired of all the bull shit that comes with being in relationships or married. I'm a man and quite frankly I didn't seek out my gf, she asked me out. I wasn't looking nor was I really interested in a relationship. We're together 5 years now and although I'm happy and I love her, I know that I…

I think her point is that biologically men generally don't outlive women because from an evolutionary standpoint it is more important for women to survive longer. Her friend has reached midlife and feels his body is physically spent and it's all downhill from here. He's done his part, he's sired the children, he's biologically speaking expendable.

Are mens social skills really to blame for a lack of friends in later like or is merely the fact most of us work a lot and if you throw in relationships and family obligations there's just no time to hang out with the boys all that often. First off let me just say. I agree with almost everything you're saying. Where you get me is that you say men are lonely because they have less social bonds while simultaneously arguing women have both stronger social bonds and more loneliness. You then throw s…

Boy Scout numbers peaked in the early 70s and have been declining since then. The pandemic was more a major blow than scandals.

Tbh I don't think thats really as big a part of their decline as much as a lack of interest. I was involved in Scouting most of my childhood and into early adulthood as a volunteer leader. No I think it was declining interest. There are so many other activities for kids to participate in, especially today.

I think the point is there's always going to be a few women who want access to male spaces because there's typically more women interested in traditionally male hobbies than there are men interested in female interests. Boy Scouts has been mentioned here and yes Boy Scouts caved because it was desperate for members, but people forget that for decades there have been girls from time to time who sued to try to gain admission. Men need to stop caving in and women need to keep to themselves.

I'm the opposite. I predominantly attract much older ladies. I'm in my early 40s and my gf is in her late 50s.

Honestly how does a single mother of any kids let alone 5 find time to date? I was raised by a single mother and all she did was work. She never dated, never had guys come over, never had a girl's night. It was work and family, and she only had me.

Being with someone who can't control their insecurities is mentally taxing. Confidence is king, your hypothetical conversations are just weird

He didn't flash her, he was passed out drunk with no pants on in his own home. He was visible and she took it upon herself to break into his house and record it and then falsely accused him of trying to lure her there.

You mean like all groups of people, women are unfairly stereotyped and pigeonholed? Monolithic thinking is a common cognitive bias, particularly when people have an aggrieved mentality.

Wanting someone who isn't broke and or lazy isn't being a gold digger. Maybe she wants someone equal to her or who has that potential. Why jump to the conclusion she's looking for a meal ticket? Maybe she doesn't want to be the man's meal ticket.

What user base did I insult? I said fathers are often shit and quite frankly it's true. The number of people I know with fathers who are/were abusive or absent is legion.

There are a lot of industries that provide services people need or often consume but the workers are looked down upon. People look down on fast food workers but their fat asses can't live without them. People use taxis all the time but taxi drivers are treated like shit (and often robbed or murdered). We all rely on food produced by farmers but it's common for people, particularly those from cities to shit on rural folk.

I'm not arguing there aren't men who receive benefits, but women make up the majority, primarily because they're more likely to be poor. As for men with children, less than 30% of male headed single parent homes receive benefits compared to over half of female headed households. Again because female headed households tend to be poorer. The point of my comment is that it's more difficult to qualify for benefits if you don't have kids, not that the system discriminates against men. Men make up les…

The American welfare state pretty much only benefits women with children. You can get food assistance if you don't have kids but you pretty much have to be unemployed and you'll only get a tiny amount. You can get Medicaid (government healthcare) but pretty much only if you're unemployed.

I don't hate women who like bad men, I simply start to lack sympathy for them after it becomes a pattern, or perhaps more accurately said, when they stick with and stay loyal to these men. I'm not really sure what you mean by caring about bad men. I generally don't like men who mistreat women, I generally don't like people who mistreat other people at all.The world is full of terrible people, it's just a fact of life, I don't care about bad people, I care about the people they hurt. If It bother…

Ok to get more to your point I think women make the male loneliness epidemic about women more than men do. First of all I've never heard anyone in real life talk about it at all so this is just based off of social media but the only posts about it I ever see are from women bitching that men want or expect xyz.

I love my gf but tbh I'd trade female companionship for having a core group of good guy friends any day. Maybe it's because I really don't give a shit about sex, or maybe it's because my girlfriend never really wants to do anything and I don't push her because I understand she has health issues. Having a girlfriend or wife won't solve your loneliness issues, it honestly just adds more stress. In terms of family everyone I was ever close to is dead and the rest of the family only reaches out to m…

Because having a small dick is stigmatized in society. Also as one woman commented earlier, it's an open invitation to get flooded with DMs from desperate men lol

Farming is the manliest man occupation? 36% of agricultural producers in the US are women, and 56% of US farms have at least one woman in charge. I don't know many farmers but the ones I do know are women...but I digress. I'm not a Trump supporter, I've voted against him every time. You pin this all on men as if a significant portion of women didn't also vote for Trump. In both his victories, Trumps share of the White women vote was over 50%, and over 40% overall for women broadly. A majority of …

Everyone's love is conditional. The only people who will always love you are your parents, especially your mother (and even that is not always guaranteed). Beyond that most human relationships are generally transactional. Friends come and go, romantic partners come and go, but blood is blood and family is always family.

Your cats or dogs aren't going to take care of you when you're old and your body is useless. While it's true we've created a society where it's common for children to shirk their responsibilities towards their parents, at the end of the day someone's child is going to end up taking care of you in some capacity. Regardless of any lack of obvious material benefits, and despite sacrifices necessary to bring forth and raise children, reproduction is necessary not only for the survival of our species…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 03:28 PM

Yea but what do the women who date those men look like? Men aren't the only ones who get desperate. Edit for clarity: I'm not agreeing that all women are shallow, I'm just saying that those women probably aren't 10s themselves, or even 5s

They're right you're conflating attempts with success. Many more men actually kill themselves, but more women "try". Men generally mean business when they try to kill themselves so the succeed cuz they use guns and such.

They (I say this as a man) should have had this attitude all along lol. I mean I guess if the desire to score some pus pus is what it takes for you to be a real man instead of a perpetual child then fine, but everything you mention is just called being a grown ass person to normal people. Unless you have a disability everyone who should be able to cook, clean and function in the world on their own.

I was intimate with a female friend once and she gossiped about my small penis to our friend group. I have also had multiple female friends talk shit about guys they've dated having small penises. Women definitely penis shame, gossip, and otherwise make fun of guys with small penises. Whether or not they do it more or less often than men I have no idea but they certainly do it.
