Men and women are different, with distinct expectations, advantages, and disadvantages. I don’t think it’s fair to compare their lives—it dismisses the unique challenges each faces. If men and women had similar dating experiences, I probably wouldn’t even have these standards. I don’t expect my future partner to bring exactly what I bring to the table, and vice versa—it’s a partnership, after all. Everyone has the right to do what they want and be with whomever they choose. I’m not looking for a…

I don't think being a safe option is always a bad thing. It's great to be a safe option for a woman who is also a safe option. However, I believe a woman's level of safety is inversely proportional to her experience (in terms of dating and body count) and, to a lesser extent, her age.

Be the man she deserves. Someone like her is in the top 1%, and she deserves a reliable man of that caliber—that should be her standard. I understand I’m not at that level yet, but I’m working towards it. I want to be a man who treats her as an individual, someone who listens intently, understands her deeply, and appreciates her fully. That’s why I’m developing my emotional intelligence. I’m also working out to build a great body, improving my looks and grooming, and becoming financially stable …

Women, from the most attractive to ugliest, can have any standards they want . Everyone has the right to their own standards. I can only express what I prefer and believe—I have no right to force anyone to follow it. But just as you judged me for my standards, others will also be judged for theirs.

Okay, you described it pretty well. Now I’m curious—why don’t you agree with this?

That's a great point. I hadn't considered the experience gap, and it strengthens my argument.

I understand, but wasn’t our conversation about how she treats you compared to her past? It may still be true that she does all you've mentioned, but she likely did more for her past partners with less effort from those men. In my opinion, the fewer relationships and lower body count she has, the higher the likelihood she’ll treat you better than her past partners—almost by default.

Yup, as a man, it’s better to be alone than to marry a woman who sees you as a convenient fallback. Wouldn’t it be better to choose a woman in her prime with no baggage or no women over one with a frivolous past and beyond her prime? Also, happy cake day!

up, I agree—that’s why men should seek traditional women for stability. You can’t make a wife out of a hoe, nor should you try.

Being the safe option’ is an ambiguous term—it’s contextual and depends on the woman and her past. Please reread my post more carefully.

Fair enough—how she treats you is also very important. But how do you quantify or assess that treatment in relation to her past relationships?

I did mention this, though not using the same words. All my points carry an underlying theme of different treatment. I agree with what you said, which is why her past matters.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
