It seems the harder they fight it, the worse the problems become.

Because it's not a bar. It's a diesel maintenance shop. The title is not accurate.

Or they at least apologize for being less emotionally stable if there's no warning. It blows my mind that there are some women out there who can't comprehend that men also have hormonal mood swings every now and then. We understand it.

We subconsciously see wealthier people as being cleaner and more healthy. It's a fallacy, but it's something humans have done since the beginning of civilization. Historically, poorer people have less access to high quality hygiene and healthcare.

You don't necessarily have to HAVE a lot of money. You just have to appear that you do. Perception is reality.

It's unfortunate. Those types of women give a seriously bad name to all the good, honest, normal women out there.

Because it's always someone else's fault. And when it's not someone else's fault, they were forced to do it.

One of my favorite first dates ever was eating at Chili's (her idea) and doing two rounds of mini golf. I think the whole date cost me about $60 for everything. We had so much fun making fun of our shitty putting skills and trading silly theories about aliens. It didn't develop into a romantic relationship, but we're still good friends to this day, and I'll take a faithful friend over a fragile romance any day.

I have a rule for myself: A nice meal for two people shouldn't go over $100. This includes appetizers, entrees, a couple glasses of wine, and maybe dessert. Sometimes I'll gladly pay a little extra for the experience of some restaurants, but that's a rarity.

A Toyota Avalon (you know, the "old woman car") is about $60k or so fully loaded. And more reliable than a BMW by lightyears. BMW is all hype.

I've never been comfortable with the term "feminism" in the current age. When the movement began long ago, it had a legitimate meaning behind it. Women were being suppressed and dismissed as inferior, and they needed a symbol of power to inspire others to join the cause. They fought hard and earned the victory they deserved. It took entirely too long, but they got there with blood, sweat, and tears. Now, the term just implies a superiority complex. It really should be called egalitarianism, but …
