Maybe question them in those ways or say Why are you doinf <whatever it is they're doing> do you really think I'm not masculine? Or i know we joke a lot but sometimes I do feel disrespected when you do or say x, y, z. I'm trying to change my image can you help me out with that? Also, these are just suggestions I'm no professional anything just a chick with a phone.

Be honest about how the jokes make you feel and genuinely apologize for low blows you may have given others. Teach your friends how to respect you and they'll oblige or move on. But you have to be willing to respect them too.

I disagree. I was dumped but I'm definitely emotionally stronger than him. If someone doesn't want you it hurts but hell that's life and when life smacks you, it always kisses you later. NC IMO is for mental recovery for those struggling with instability, leaving abusive relations or addicts or if a person requests it because they need space to recover. What do you and your ex need?
