That disclaimer is just some CYA language that financial firms are required to say to prospective clients. The past is an indicator. Indicate does not mean to predict exactly but in all things we must make educated guesses based on probabilities. Guys who get disappointed by investments they make in stocks or women are looking for a sure thing which doesn't exist.
