"fucking misogynistic piece of shit" "men need to stop making it about themselves," "that's such bullshit" "o no the poor menz." Come on...this doesn't really happen outside the tublrverse...right?

It's frightening that even the most, supposedly, open minded and progressive of peoples would be willing to lose or ostracize a friend who they knew to be a decent human being because of a tribal prejudice against their social persuasions. In any case, I don't suppose that we can hope to make much in the way of strides towards what we consider to be right unless we're willing to get our hands dirty from time to time. However, it needn't be an all-or-nothing effort. Have you considered simply ide…

The men in the study all scored within the normal range of behavior — but with higher-than-average levels of these anti-social traits. Okay, so people who take the time to post numerous pictures of themselves are more likely than average to have traits that would make one bother to post multiple pictures of yourself, but are otherwise normal people. This article is mindless fluff.

What he is saying is common knowledge If it's common knowledge than why are so many people unaware of it? If it were truly common and accepted, there'd be little issue to discuss, and people here wouldn't be railing on about raising awareness of it by posting such screenshots. Why does the media overwhelmingly take the side of SJWs over MRAs. These factors, and more, suggest that it's not common knowledge, though you may wish it so. if you want to say the sky is blue you don't have to first pres…

It deeply saddens me to see this subreddit endorse these vitriolic rants in lieu of raising awareness of real, documented issues, and acting as support to men and boys who've been slighted by society because of their gender.

He wasn't trying to prove anything, because he didn't care what the person he was replying to would take out of this conversation. If there are specific things you disagree with in his post, I could try to find references to would support his claims. The problem isn't with whether or not he was trying to prove anything to anyone; the problem is that it's not proof, and people who come here and see it may think we see it as such. That will turn off a lot of people, especially since MRA's are alre…

Stop acting like anytime someone comments on this stuff they have to write a 25 research paper with a work's cited. What an extreme leap you've made between literally zero evidence and hot-air to "25 research paper with work's cited", but I guess it's a rather extreme post. It's reasonable that it attracts extreme minds. I think linking a 4chan post is great, because the people who disagree won't disagree with the content, just with the fact that it's 4chan, and it'll show how unable to argue th…

While he may have some good points, it's essentially a rant filled with invective and absolutes and virtually no backing evidence other than anecdotes. Couple that with the fact it's from "4chan", not exactly known as a paragon of integrity or decency, and this post could easily disenfranchise more people than it inspires sympathy in. As an aside, linking 4chan snapshots in general is likely a bad idea if we want to be taken seriously.

Suppose it was a company such as Strellson? Why would you have 50% women on a company that exclusively makes male clothing? If they're educated and have experience in business, or fashion, or whatever the board does, then why not. Clothing design is not gender specific. In fact, basically all design is not gender specific. So, do you really think that simply having a vagina is an excuse for a free ride? I don't consider a select amount of people simply having a better chance at getting a job as …

30% just to supervisory boards? It's not exactly equality to "AA" someone into a position, but it's not really that bad either. If said boards aren't already at least 1/3rd female, then these privately owned companies are definitely, perhaps not intentionally, missing out on the feminine perspective. Frankly, I'm a lot more concerned with reproductive rights, custody equality, divorce reform, negative stereotypes, and the disposability of men rather than a relatively mild quota system for board …

You can defend yourself against ANYONE Sure as long as you have video proof to justify your actions and/or friendly police/local juries...and if you aren't afraid of potentially being sued or jailed if you scar/kill someone.

This might be more relevant outside of America where doctors, perhaps, aren't, more often than not, egotistical money-grubbers who are at the top of the income food chain by leveraging people's health and a monopoly on prescriptions against ordinary citizens. But yeah, at this point I basically feel nothing but contempt for the inherent sexism of the phrase "Women and children"
