Here's an article from The Hill stating that less than 50% of women identify as feminist. https://www.google.com/amp/s/thehill.com/business-a-lobbying/401804-poll-less-than-half-of-female-millennials-identify-as-feminists%3famp That isn't good news. Perhaps I'm in need of correction, but my understanding was that on average, only 20-30% of women identify as feminist (In the West, varies by Country). Less than 50% is way above the average.

You mean your first post? So what exactly does this have to do with men's rights? I just checked the sidebar mod policies, humour does not seem to be an offence.

Mike Cernovich is matching up to $10,000 in backing. http://www.dangerandplay.com/2015/10/27/we-are-backing-the-movie-feminists-do-not-want-you-to-see/ This guy is well known to GG, solid guy, got doxxed by SJWs, returned fire with both barrels.

When feminism becomes completely untenable as a position and society has thoroughly rejected it, these same women will jump on board the mantle of the humanist and egalitarian movements in order to twist those towards their purposes. They will suffer a setback, and then it will be more of the same shit with a different shovel.

It is not an atypical TRP video, but it has a lot of truths throughout. Probably best to make time for it later if you can. The good news is that he is an engaging speaker, and it's pretty easy viewing. The descriptions he gives in the differences between men's and women's brains and how we think were personally of greatest interest to me. 16m mark, is where the discussion begins, plenty of humour throughout.

TL;DR (Because damn what a long reply I wrote) Women are capable, if not physically equal. Men and women work in groups differently from one another. I build power transmission towers, a male dominated work force, but by no means is it exclusionary to women. I say this to simply provide a background on myself, and as an example to demonstrate that I work in an environment that actually deals with some of the issues raised here. How many MEN do you know who couldn't hack it on a fire team, despit…
/r/MensRights19/09/15 10:56 AM

So basically you are of the mind (no pun intended), that while there are obviously physical differences, you believe there to be no mental differences between the sexes? That our differences are purely a result of environment and expectations placed upon following our births?

Upper body strength, muscle density, and stress fractures are non-negotiable biological realities. Gay and straight men have different sexual preferences, but how they interact and bond with one another and form a team, are still the same. Men and women are very distinct from one another in how we bond, and the group dynamic changes drastically when you go from an all male group to a mixed group. I would be very wary of discounting what the Marines are saying.

Does such exclude dating at all? Do some date, but strickly on their terms? No ltrs? Ltr, but only on his terms at his pace? Who decides what counts as mgtow? It is an individual choice on what exactly MGTOW constitutes for that person. You get a great deal of variance amongst those who practice it. I've come across a guy who straight up swore off sex in order to not deal with women (Not a healthy choice imo). The rules, are what you choose to make them, and a refusal to let society to tell you …

First up, this is a good discussion, I appreciate the fact that it's on an even keel. I view MGTOW a little differently from you. The way I view MGTOW, is as refusal to play the game that society/feminism has created today. They have recognised that the scales are tipped against them in many ways, and said 'Fuck it, I'm out'; literally, men that go their own way. I'll note, not participating in relationships, does not preclude getting laid. I come at this from a personal perspective, since I was…

Going to disagree with you here on several points. I don't think he was an alpha, and that he was well aware of that fact. I do think he had a certain amount of courage to dress himself up like a fool and open himself up to ridicule, which many people seem to focus on doing rather than focus on what he was saying. Do you really think a man who resolves himself to never having a connection with a woman is enlightened somehow? Enlightened, perhaps not, but he's figured out enough that he knows whe…

What ticks me off about these articles, is that they know that if comments were enabled, they would face considerable discussion going against the grain of the narrative they want to force down peoples throats. They control the narrative by removing any ability to discuss the article at its source. It's intentional, and cowardly. Had to do the 'good Canadian thing' and write them asking for explanation. I see this tactic of suppressing discussion frequently in Canadian media.

I'm not technically savvy enough to know if this is possible, but I'd suggest tying in some level of authentication directly tied to TRP users, before people are able to use it. My thought behind that is the app could be raided by SJWs otherwise, perhaps to a point of making the app unusable.

I'll be interested to read your thoughts on that, I hope for some good examples in there. While retreading ground is possible (inevitable once you're here long enough), I strongly have doubts as to SJW's inserting their thinking into TRP. The old guard here give zero ground to people who try to manipulate/contaminate TRP toward their own non-TRP goals. Social Justice & Feminism is anti-thesis to TRP.

I'd be interested in Christina's take on this video, she's visited this subreddit previously. On some level I think I'm a bit of a sucker (or rather, a part of me wants to be that sucker), I want to believe that the video shows a fundamental realisation on some level, that today's feminism has gone off the tracks and is hurting society as a whole. I'm going to go against the grain of the prevailing votes here. SJW's can fuck you over even if you are not their apologist. There are numerous examples throughout TRP and elsewhere. If you can't wrap your head around that, ask yourself this; why else do we highly recommend having a separate account for TRP? To answer my own question, the answer is the threat of doxing. Relax more, don't try to impress people, enjoy the conversation, add to it when you think you actually have something to add. Otherwise, just study what it is others do, what works, what doesn't. If something works for someone else, but didn't work for you, don't get upset about it, roll with it. Socializing is going to take more time to get comfortable with than most things you work towards. If you know these people, then they already have a firm opinion of who you are based upon all your past interactions. This is where you need to stop focusing on them, on their opinion. In order for their opinions and actions to change, you have to begin with yourself, to strive to make the differences I talked about. They may be perceived as more interesting, because they may actually be more interesting. As for speaking, and people being more dominant; obviously we have never talked, but you've…

You're on the right path, you want change, you're simply coming out of the 'blunder years', and you are behind the rest of the field. There are a few things you can do, all of them revolve around you. The main thing you have to work on is how you perceive yourself. What you need to figure out, is who you want to be in life. I don't mean your career, I mean the kind of man you want to grow into, someone you and others can respect. If you can figure out who that man is, then you can set goals. The…

This is getting silly. I got into a discussion about GoT with you because you brought it up, I don't consider GoT to be RP material. To quote myself: Aside from Game of Thrones, these are the only three shows I care to watch I should have been more clear in my statement there. GoT is a footnote, almost like disclosure, but it isn't in the main list because I don't believe it belongs there. My very first reply to you: Dark and gritty doesn't always equate to realistic. This isn't a realistic standard if you're trying to translate this into serious RP theory. From my original post, please note that I did not include GoT on my list of RP viewing, I only mentioned it as being the 'other show' I watch. At no point was I arguing in favor of GoT being RP material. The three shows I promoted are what was up for consideration.

I'm convinced, I look forward to watching it. My Dad actually recommended this show to me many years ago, I had forgotten about it until it was brought up here. Between all the recommendations I've seen here, I'll have ample viewing material for a long time to come. It is a pain in the ass to start a new series not knowing if it will pay off your investment in time. I, Claudius sounds just like what I'm looking for.

I think Mormont tried to warn her off Daario, if I remember correctly, mostly from a deep seeded jealousy. While Mormont is bad ass, he is a mix of 'Mr. Nice Guy' with a severe case of oneitis when it comes to Daenerys. Considering that she walked out of a funeral pyre with 3 baby dragons in her hands though, I can pretty much see where he gets his worship complex from. As for Daenerys fucking Daario, she is a Targaryen, a family famous for marrying their own brothers and sisters. Hard to blink …

He's not trying to bash gays. Intellectually it is easy to be for gay rights, to recognize their right to do what they want. Who are we to say otherwise. On a completely primal level, seeing two guys make out makes many of us want to crawl out of our own skins. It's not a knock against the guys who are gay, but many men are just wired for that reaction. It's physical, not mental.

I hadn't intended to discuss GoT here, ah well. These women, they come from positions of power and privilege, even Danyres (sic), taught by the finest maesters, their view of the world is absolutely not that of the average man or woman. This just reminded me of a story from the UK. Since the feminists have made it so that Muslim communities can practice Sharia law in many instances, an increasing number of British men are converting to Islam prior to divorce, thereby avoiding divorce rape. Have they actually forced Dr. Hunt to resign then? I'm not surprised, though I am angered by it. Matt Taylor is an excellent reference to include. These SJW's are the death of civilization.

I always question the media narrative, it is usually bent. Like yourself, I'm fine with people doing what they want to do, practice their beliefs as they see fit. The caveat being that your actions can't infringe upon others. If you immigrate to another culture, it is upon you to assimilate into that culture, not the other way around. There is a sane middle ground to be had, we just don't get to see it often enough.

Hitler was primarily looked at as having 'quirks' by his own people. It was very easy for them to ignore however, because at the time the economy was in a massive shambles, and he came along promising work for everyone. More to the point, these massive public projects did happen, and unemployment dropped to negligible numbers. The Autobahn is a prime example of one of these public projects. I'm not excusing this massive prick, I'm just explaining that he was a lot more popular with the German pe…

His homosexuality really was a great trump card against the SJW types. Reminds me of Milo Yiannopoulos, a gay journalist from the UK. Gets away with so much shit that a straight man would be torn apart for. It is hilarious.

Just a small anecdote here. Years ago a Mosque opened up in Calgary, AB. Very early one morning, they started up with their usual 'call to prayer', with loudspeakers, at about 4am. For about 10 minutes this continued, at which point an unidentified pickup truck drove by and blew away the loudspeakers with a shotgun. The police were called, they took a statement, but there weren't really any leads they could follow up on. The Mosque replaced the loudspeakers. The next morning, 4am sharp, the call…

Yes, some of the men here do have daughters, and that makes this a very hard pill to swallow indeed. TRP isn't exactly what you make it out to be. Yes there are pick up artists, and guys who puff their chest out and play the game. That is not the end result of TRP, it is an imitation. Our society is very feminized these days, and from a young age, starting with our mothers, to our teachers, our media, everything around us teaches us to treat women with kindness, sensitivity, to listen carefully …

If you don't have video evidence, or in the very least audio, of the incident, you will still be the one taken away. I am completely serious. This the criteria used by the police: Link Yes, the criteria is written by feminists. If you do not have evidence, DO NOT call the cops. Instead, see a lawyer and get guidance.

Just an aside question for you, I used to do desktop publishing for magazines about a decade ago. InDesign was making serious inroads back then, but Quark was still the go to for many companies. Has that changed?

It will take time, it will take effort, you will have to work for it, you'll have to consume this material until you know it inside and out, and you have to live it. I thought baseline average intelligence was the same for both men and women at 100 IQ? My understanding of the actual difference in intelligence was related to the bell curve. Women cluster around the average, whereas men have greater numbers on the extremes, which leads to a greater number of above average and genius level men in comparison to women.

Your exercise will reduce that body fat and improve your jawline over time. A chiseled jawline does not make a man though. Everyone has 'defects' that make us less than the ideal model. Being a model does not make you a real man. TRP makes you a real man. Lift more, eat right, consume TRP daily. Fuck using a beard as a crutch. You don't need a crutch.

It is pretty awesome to watch Christina Hoff Sommers in action. She meets the emotionally based arguments and the 'listen and believe' mentality with reason, logic, and facts. She is an awesome ally to have in our corner, and I'm an admirer. GG is a shitstorm moving in the opposite direction The train has left the station, and there are no brakes. Frigging love this ride. You make fair points, and I believe I understand where you are coming from. GG is no longer just going after gaming media however, they are going into a full out culture war. In order to change the top, you have to change the narrative first. Discussion everywhere has been stifled, and it is very easy to be attacked for voicing the 'wrong' ideas, and currently the consequences can be brutal for doing so. That is the challenge GG has taken on. First you have to win on your own turf. GG is doing t…

Yeah I see your point now, it is fairly made. Nevermind that we could see an equal amount of bleed through from KIA to 2XC, they'll write their narrative as they see fit. As you well know, GG is really diverse. The main crossover between TRP and KIA is the attitude. Gamers have been a media target since before Doom, and we've learned not to give a shit. Except now they are trying to change gaming... we give a shit about that part. I think that is the main takeaway from here. Obviously, some peop…

I don't think we're allowed to do links? Maybe that was just over in KotakuInAction however. The short of it is that GG had a meetup in DC, several known GG personalities were there. We do everything rather publically so of course the Anti-GG's (which we refer to as Aggro's) got wind of it. The primary reason you would be under the impression that GG isn't doing well, is because by and large mainstream media backs the SJW narrative. The reporting is skewed, yet very slowly turning the corner in some areas. We're in for the long haul, and it is a big ship that needs turning. Any time the reports are skewed, GG jumps on it and goes after them, citing facts, providing references. Several articles are in the stages of being challenged through the respective ombudsmen for major outlets.…

A large portion of male gamers are default MGTOW, many got rejected from early on and nope'd right the fuck out of society. These gamers aren't TRP, but they know an SJW when they see one, and they don't give two shits about standing their ground while being shouted down. SJW's have fucked up a lot of shit, from education on down. I'll put my money on the gamers and developers though, market forces win this one.

I actually just brought this book up in another thread that was discussing language. George Orwell's 1984. It is an absolute classic for good reason. The story isn't TRP as such, but was it does do exceptionally well is give you clear insight on how language can be used to control and direct you and society at large. Something every man should be aware of. There are a great many real world examples we see everyday in life that relate directly to this. I now have a serious hankering to find mysel…

It really reminds me of Orwell's 1984. One of the concepts of that book that I found to be brilliant at the time was that of how language can be used to restrict and define things. It is something I expect most people to be aware of, more so in TRP. Never label yourself, doing so can create mental blocks and directly affect your ability to reason.
