| 1 | Man fired over calling feminist Clementine Ford a slutI live in Aus, so what has come out of this is that the guy was also posting racist stuff on his wall and had his employer listed. I would say the company - which is a HUGE company - would not want some one who says this kind of stuff on his FB for all to see to be associated with them. More so if he has access to the hotel rooms, which he did have. If anyone at my worked posted stuff like that, they'd be out the door quick smart. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/15 01:37 AM |
| 1 | There is a big difference between 'domestic violence' and 'violence against women'I'm Australian and in my local community we have lots of DV. Only it's not called that. It's referred to, in every awareness campaign in the area is "(Council) stands against family violence." It's never been gendered in my shire and the support information always says stuff like "for women, men and children who have suffered family violence". | /r/MensRights | 26/11/15 06:34 AM |
| -1 | Women complain a great deal about the toilet seat being left up after use. With so many toilets being gender neutral: Should men put the toilet seat down when they're finished? It depends on how many people are in the house - more boys, leave it up, more girls, leave it down. Also, who owns the place or is the leaseholder. They get the decisive vote if it's a tie. I've lived in shitloads of places and no one has ever objected to this. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/15 03:55 AM |
