I talked with feminists about mens rightI am not feminist anymore but am still inside them because I want to help abused victims. Because thats something I needed when I was abused as a child | /r/MensRights | 10/05/25 02:27 PM
I talked with feminists about mens rightI dont think you should support my only hope is 4th wave of feminism will be more equal amd open to men . I dont think majority of feminists think like that but if there is different opinions then there should be hope. | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 04:53 PM
I talked with feminists about mens rightWell honestly after talking with people here And I searched so much . I dpnt want call myself feminist at all you can consider me ex feminist but the reason I am still in this feminist groups is I have to keep support abuse victims in here. They need support | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 03:58 PM
I talked with feminists about mens rightEverything luxury for us , we have a so much problems at the same time so we have a organization for everything at this point. | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 03:56 PM
I talked with feminists about mens rightI actually dont think like that. Maybe I didnt explain good. After I made post I had a feedback from turkish men who had a trouble with feminism. After they give me their opinion I talked about that with feminist organizations . But I cant know how is majority. But I dont think most of them positive. I just wanted tell all of you this cause its good that some people broke the stereotype it means hope for change | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 08:49 AM
I talked with feminists about mens rightI am not here to say feminism good I just helping both female and male victims so for me your opinion important | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 08:41 AM
Found a post on on r/feminism wanted to know your thoughts?I think Both parties should accept that together | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 08:40 AM
How can you help someone empathize with men more?Maybe you should recommend her read books talk about feminism more objectively. I advise not start with heavy ones something gives little empathy to start maybe bell hooks “the will to change” though this is not %100 mens right but something different. For me the thing changed my mind is seeing male victims in courts. Thats how I started think like “ wait thats same abuse women experience and it comes from women this time” so maybe watching some documentaries or videos about that. | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 01:03 AM
I talked with feminists about mens rightI really hope we wont repeat history here. But I will try my best to create more equal life for next generation | /r/MensRights | 09/05/25 12:56 AM
Found a post on on r/feminism wanted to know your thoughts? As a someone who is active on feminist associations, my opinion is If your partner does not abuse you physically and emotionally ( being agressive etc.), I don't find this behavior right. Its important that children have a healthy relationship with their parents.and since people choose partners most of time who is similar to their parents ( so much article about that) well making dad a problematic figure in their mind doesnt help them at all | /r/MensRights | 08/05/25 11:18 PM
"Not sure if I want to have children" at ages 40+. WTF?Yeah maybe but not much healthy life . Most of my friends parents died at similar age , I started use pills at 12 because of hormonal imbalance , problem is our food contain too much pesticide and micro plastic. Also our diet is meat based so heart disease are higher too. Our political problems makes us 3rd for me because global doesnt know but people kill themself because of financial problems . Even university students, | /r/MensRights | 05/05/25 09:06 PM
"Not sure if I want to have children" at ages 40+. WTF?I am from 3rd country thats why I am from turkey my mother came from iran and my father tortured by soldiers in 1980. So maybe that can be reason too . They had a stressfull life | /r/MensRights | 05/05/25 12:24 PM
"Not sure if I want to have children" at ages 40+. WTF?Well they werent able to take care of me after 50 so My sisters did so even if they died late ıt wouldnt matter | /r/MensRights | 05/05/25 12:23 PM
"Not sure if I want to have children" at ages 40+. WTF?My mother had me at 40 my father was 45 I lost my father because of age at 19 and by the time I was 23 I had no father , no mother and no home . So I always tell my friend dont have kids after 35 if u dont want them to pay your hospital bills at 20 | /r/MensRights | 05/05/25 12:20 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministYeah I totally get it maybe thats our fault too I mean people who actively do something usually acting private so people doesnt see that side. Also male victims usually staying silent because fear of being seen and bullying so people dont know them. Man hatred feminist so agressive so usually we stay away from social media. Maybe we should be more public | /r/MensRights | 03/05/25 05:47 PM
Mens Rights discussion with feministHello as I said on other comments I'm not very active on social media yet. I know volunteers who actively help lawsuits, and we act more egalitarianly. I don't take the feminist crew on social media seriously. Because they are just whining instead of actively helping. But ypu are right about that . As I said I am not active on social media so I have no knowledge about that so I cant give any opinion | /r/MensRights | 03/05/25 11:18 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministMy opinion is If children can be protected by equality I am all for it , I can go army work more as long as no one disadvantaged as a victim but thats a long road cause we need new generation who doesnt have a cinderella syndrome or hero syndrome | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 10:31 PM
Femenists do everything they criticizeSorry I didnt really understand | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 09:13 PM
Mens Rights discussion with feministI want to thank everyone on this sub that talked with respect . That made me really happy because I encountered mostly abusive and pedophile men (women too but mostly men cause women reported more ) as a topic I focused on, I didn't come across the things that men experience except for the victims of male abuse. That will be something I will research Although now I think I am closer to egalitarianism, I will continue to support both men and women in feminist organizations . We can achieve justic… | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:35 PM
Femenists do everything they criticizeI am a feminist but I learned in this sub I can be Egalitarian what pisses me off that I am actively trying help victims like me but these type of trash women making my effort waste . Why? Because victims can take charge against their abuser but cant take charges against mother who ignored them. Or men get angry and they dont work with us which would be more powerfull movements against femicides or general abuse cases | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:26 PM
Mens Rights discussion with feministYou are right . I'm sorry if my sentence sounded aggressive, the reason I said that sentence is that I actively follow violence and domestic cases, and they are advantageous except for divorce cases, for example, in the case of rape of a 12-year-old girl, the judge found the man right because he wore a skirt. The advantage actually comes from that sociological part. But they are also disrupted in some matters. In fact, men are also disadvantaged because there is a problem in society. But in all … | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:09 PM
| -1 | Mens Rights discussion with feministİn muslim countries men more previliged . I do agree about army but you cant point one single stuff and generalize. | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 04:36 PM |
Mens Rights discussion with feministNot actually you can be rape victim and have same right its up to judges to decide. I gone cases like that for support victims | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 04:34 PM
Mens Rights discussion with feministWhat is problem with campus witches ( I talk in english for foreign people to understand ) ı am with kadın cinayetlerini durduracağız and we have a private cases men are abused and taking charge ( they want it to be private ) | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 11:50 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministOh I did by the way we talk all the time. Turkish men usually visit our communities to discuss. But they dont have a subreddit | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 10:04 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministThats bullshit | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:53 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministI actually think that only people who wants to be soldier should go to army. Cause its hard and traumatic . I have a question my cousin couldnt handle army and army sent him back cause it was hard for him . İts not happening in your country ? | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:52 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministYeah probably , maybe I dont know this side. I know there are groups support mens right too. Whatever they call me I support the idea of men issues not heard because I saw . And Feminists are also separating among themselves. I am sure that there are people like that too in turkey but we shouldnt generalize. Feminism universal movement and always there will be toxic side of that. The important thing is is it more ? İn my country it is not. But in U.S.A can be different | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:46 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministOh I see I will look into that more do you have k know any articles or books I can read about this topic? | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:33 AM
| -7 | Mens Rights discussion with feministNope I never heard that. İmportant figures on feminism in Turkey and started this movement never said something about hating men, at least what I know. We are mostly focused on murders, and child brides. Maybe the reason why important feminists in Turkey do not develop this idea, we have much more urgent issues. In Turkey when children are brides and women are constantly killed, pedophiles getting away with it.if you go public and talk about hating men people will get angry or doesnt care , supp… | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:29 AM |
Mens Rights discussion with feministOh I see. Well you have a point. I guess I should learn more about that . As I said in turkey we have a feminist communities amd we support male victims too . My mindset is its not about gender everyone should feel safe with their laws | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:21 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministThats true too, from my experience men are silent or not taken seriously because they are afraid. For example, Turkish parents can show their boy's pee to my relatives for air. If you are uncomfortable with this situation, you are a gay | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:17 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministSo if you are abused as a man what happens if you report this to police ? | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:13 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministSo if you are abused as a man what happens if you report this to police ? | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:12 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministSorry I didnt quite understand can you give more details? I thought toxic traditional culture hurt equally men and women but my english isnt good maybe thats why I didnt understand | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:10 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministYes thats why these pyschologist isnt heard. If you criticize culture and tradition in Turkey, you will be hated but now new generation more educated and dont celebrate this weird stuff | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:08 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministWe dont have feminist leaders but communities. we have that idea with called “ eşitlikçi feminizm” which is “Egalitarian feminism” there are turkish feminists too of course who is biased against men and acting rude. Turkey was the first country to give women the right to vote, and even in our ottaman time, women were educated. In fact, there were no bad thoughts about we had a right to vote except for the conservatives and cults. We had female soldiers in the first world war. But when the cults … | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 07:06 AM
| -4 | Mens Rights discussion with feministAnd we are mostly equalist as I said in turkey not only women but men are having hard time in society because of traditional opinions. As a man you have no choice but work , you have to pay everything . And if you are sexually abused and tell anyone they will bully you . So patriarchy have same effect on both of us | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:58 AM |
Mens Rights discussion with feministOh you mean “Sunnet” ahh I hate that. Psychologists in Turkey made a lot of speech about this. They often say that cutting the man's organ and celebrating it is harmful to boys, but it still continues maybe if pyschologists in other countries talk it can be heard | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:55 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministI see. In turkey right now not only woman but men are suffering too. I saw A lot of male abuse victims in sa survivor community but they are keeping their cases private cause men are making fun of them . Maybe thats why we are more Egalitarian | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:51 AM
Mens Rights discussion with feministOh I see, well I guess in U.S.A more hate biased I read links you gave . What I understand in turkey men and women who are not muslim are trying to survive so we have no time to fight between each other | /r/MensRights | 02/05/25 06:45 AM
