So you could very easily make the claim that more women are ‘suicidal’ if struggling with suicidal thoughts is what makes you suicidal. A gendered approach to suicide makes the most sense as men and women suffer and act differently but which gender you feel is more ‘suicidal’ is dependent on your definition of the word.
