| 1 | Man this shit sucksI hear you. I have often asked myself, if I had a Time Machine, what advice would I go back and give myself to have avoided this? Focusing on that has helped me keep myself on a path forward. At this point, I don’t want to say I’ve accepted the affair and everything after, but it’s the life I have now. The only thing I can control now is how i try to grow from it. I was always curious if it’s worse today for you because of the date? The boundaries are hard though and just this week I think I’ve decided to stop wearing my ring. (About 3 months now since she told me she’s in love with someone else). That was a tough one but as many have pointed out-keeping it on felt more like I was foolin… | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/06/24 07:06 PM |
| 1 | How do you deal with the pain and regret of messing up your family and marriage?I know I have a lot of fault in what led to our separation. Worse, it’s not like I didn’t see therapists to try to fix things along the way, but what I know now is that I wasn’t ready to learn the hardest lessons. I kept repeating the same mistakes because of shame and the lack of my own courage. I made mistakes but it wasn't from lack of trying. If all of this was easy, there wouldn’t be … | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/05/24 06:15 AM |
