Canadian chiming in. Women's gold medal hockey game in 2014 was more exciting for a lot of us than the men's. Coming back from the deficit was anxiety inducing.

I was working two jobs at 20 when I wasn't in school in order to afford to go to school the following year. One job was nights. 80 hour weeks. No car either so I'd start a night shift at 11 pm, work till 7 am, walk home, sleep for 3 hours. Catch a bus to be at my other job by 11 am. Work till 6 ish, bus home, sleep for 3 hours. Rinse repeat for 4 months straight. Then school starts (nursing). School all day, night shift at night.

As backwards as it is, being aggressive deters people from making stupid comments like the guy did. Had a woman bump me hard with her cart in the grocery store to get out of her way in line, asking rudely "who stands in the way? Honestly!" to which I retort loudly "who doesn't say excuse me and assaults people who aren't looking?". I don't think she expected me to respond and just let her go so she hurried off muttering more crap at me and shaking her head, to which I continued with "what's that…
