Marissa Mayer did not fuck up Yahoo. It was already fucked when she got there. However, she was supposed to be the savior and she wasn’t. She left it no better and arguably worse when she left. But make no mistake, Yahoo was a mess before she got there.

I’m all for equal pay for equal results, regardless of gender, race, or whatever. I don’t support equal pay for equal work. Just because you try doesn’t mean you accomplish something.

Because they can get away with it.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but it’s people that do this stuff not just women. Men do plenty of stuff like this as well but the problem is that women get away with it. Men get punished in our societies and women get a pass. I think most men would do the same thing if we could get away with it. As much as people want to live in a fantasy world of hypotheticals, it’s a lot different when it’s happening to you. The solution is to not let women get away with crap like this.

Why was the race in the headline then when race wasn’t a factor?

The only reason this was reported was because it was a white person falsely accusing a black person of something. If the races were the same, the media wouldn’t have cared if a male were falsely accused.

She's an idiot for sure. Those other four are probably all single moms too.

You’re right. I’ve seen too many people my age go through that. All that being said, happiness is worth far more than money. I’d be okay if I were divorced and that’s what counts. Edit—well, actually I disagree with the bitcoin piece, lol.

Well, I’m just a regular guy. I wouldn’t say I’m easily replaced, but I’m also not very unique. I just don’t take shit from my wife. If I’m being honest, I’m probably more of a jerk but whatever. You always have to have contingency plans.

I agree with much of the thoughts on the sub. Not all, but many.

I appreciate the open mind and openness to feedback. At least you’re trying, which is commendable. On my part, it’s far easier to snipe and criticize than create and open yourself up. That being said, I don’t see much of a difference between Faith and Hope above. Both say to believe. I also disagree that perseverance neatly falls under failure as you defined it above. I interpret failure as you defined it as learning from mistakes. Other than that I would say that quality is not bad at all. Subj…

I think you’re missing perseverance. That’s a key component. FWIW, I think lists like this are stupid. They’re generic rah rah words that don’t mean shit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
