I haven't looked up homelessness stats worldwide in quite some time, and even if I did I doubt they'd be very accurate considering that the statistics that are usually published here typically don't even include people who are in shelters. All the laws you have over in the US appear to be created to screw over the poor and working class, it's pretty sad. This is NOT the case in the US. Having been homeless for a total of about 2yrs of my life, I once spent 2 weeks in the middle of winter in North Dakota on the streets because they didn't have any openings in any of the men's shelters. I couldn't see for myself if they had any spots open when I went to the women's shelter, but from what I had heard, there were at least a couple of rooms open, while men were packed like sardines in an old gymnasium on 30y.o. Army surplus cots. What makes it worse …

#1 In a lot of states when you make a claim to the ethics board of the state bar against your lawyer, if they find it has merit they'll allow for a rescheduling of your trial (if it's still on the docket) - and may even be grounds for a mistrial. #2 Or you could place an anonymous report to the ethics board where they'll essentially just make a report on the incident that sits in a folder somewhere unless/until you decide to follow through with an actual grievance.
