Okay...but circumcision is a major issue. In order to implement change, we are spreading the word and acting against it. You are wording it as crying because you seem to want us to ‘be men,’ which worries me. We can focus on multiple issues, and right now unnecessary genital mutilation is a pretty fucking big issue.

rape, assault and other things in that category, depression, expectation of being homemakers, and views of women in media are good places to start. i-i don’t understand how someone can deny this. feminism is bad. i already went over this. if we can work to acknowledge each other’s issues and attempt to solve them reasonably, we can, in fact, work to end disadvantages against everyone. that is the future I hope for. jesus, stop spitting this shit out time after time. I know that men face issues a…

Wait...what? I go back onto reddit and see this? Forgive me if I sound unnecessarily rude, but are you really going to sit here and tell me that women face no issues in society, and that quite literally everything in society is built to cater to women and disadvantage men? Jesus. I dont know where this kind of thinking comes from, but it's atrocious. Women, contrary to what you may believe, actually face problems in society. So do men. We both face issues, and both genders' issues deserve consid…

This movement is specifically for equality in areas in which men are behind women. I understand that. But this is not a movement for total equality in every category. If it was, women’s issues would have a presence here. All I’m saying is that we shouldn’t make fun of feminism for only focusing on one gender’s issues, when we also do the same.

So you’re just going to leave the discussion without actually making an appropriate argument? Okay. Women are proven to be capable of becoming president already. There is no legal reason against it, meaning that any woman is “capable,” as defined by every reputable dictionary under the sun, of becoming president. Your comment did not say “the only gender that has been president so far.” It said “the only gender capable of becoming president so far,” which is false, as any given woman is capable …
/r/MensRights31/07/19 02:06 PM
2

I don’t. I am not disputing that no presidents so far have been female. This does not change the fact, however, that both genders are, or have been, theoretically capable of becoming president at any election. Your comment stated the opposite.
/r/MensRights30/07/19 11:44 PM
1

That doesn’t make sense though. You’re using the fact that no women have become president yet to mean that they are incapable of becoming president. Plenty of women could have theoretically become president so far, it’s just they haven’t. Neither gender is incapable of being president.
/r/MensRights30/07/19 05:57 PM
1

There haven’t been. This doesn’t mean that women are incapable of becoming president, it just means that historically, they haven’t yet.
/r/MensRights30/07/19 02:15 AM
1

I never said that. You, however, said “the only sex capable of the United States of America so far” when referring to men. This is not a movement that I want to be part of. We all say that “we don’t hate women,” but in practice, plenty of people say things that are insulting to all women. This is against the core values of the MRM.

/r/MensRights06/07/19 09:11 PM

It’s because much of society believes that men have an innate goal at birth to pursue, marry, and have children with a woman. If a man has conflicting interests than a woman, he is seen as betraying the goal that was set for him, and all men, by people other than himself. This is also the reason people use ‘incel’ as an insult, and judge the worth of a man based on his sexual and relationship experience, because it is understood to be the overall objective of a man’s life to be in a relationship…

Read articles about the damn group, man. They attack innocents all the time. Stop trying to portray society as an abuse-happy anarchy. The mere potential of a false accusation is enough to discredit this idea.

The women, which is one of the two main problems with this.
/r/MensRights04/07/19 10:49 PM

Have you even read about this group, first off? They target hundreds of people without evidence. Women should fight, yes, but women should fight to have the laws changed. Nothing is wrong with that. But instead of taking matters into their own hands, they should fight for law enforcement to be changed, rather than fighting for a self-governing vigilante mess. Additionally, you seem to have an incredibly warped perception of men in general. You seem to have the predisposed notion that men are all…

Lmao ok you need to be a feminist. This mob SPECIFICALLY targets anyone and everyone accused of any violence against women without proof. They’re not ‘doing whatever they can to protect themselves,’ they are being excessive, misinformed, and frankly, psychotic. I am aware law enforcement in this part of India is not very involved in society. The solution to this, rather shockingly, is to improve law enforcement, rather than giving sticks to vigilante citizens. I’m not even going to comment on th…

They’re not ‘defending themselves.’ They are attacking innocents without proof, when their real goal should be to strengthen existing laws.
/r/MensRights04/07/19 09:25 PM
3

Teach the Indian authorities to do their damn jobs then, rather then letting the people take matters into their own hands. As someone else said, vigilante mobs aren’t the solution, strengthening the laws is.

Thank you for addressing one problem I pointed out, while ignoring the rest of my argument. Presumption of guilt is against the United Nations code. You cannot assume someone is guilty without evidence and proper legal action. The mere possibility of false accusations is enough to discredit this idea. Rather than this wannabe improvising of legality, we should be working to determine the innocence or guilt of the accused in fair, legal ways. Also, I am sure your reply to this will be ‘police are…

What about false accusations? What about breaking principle? What about the responsibility of law? What about false accusation vs. legitimate abuse rates in society? You don’t care about these things. You just want to ignore evidence to justify the thought of innocent human beings being beaten to death.

The mean is always the most reliable statistic to use, in any instance. You will always find correct, reliable results using it, because it is, by definition, the average result of all the data. Men, on average, do earn more than women on average. This is correct. What makes the pay gap myth incorrect is the fact that this gap exists due to independent choices men and women make. But it is simply a fact that men’s mean earnings are higher than women’s mean earnings.

Mainly try to appeal to the male base and try to convince men not to riot over this by showing something that the media thinks they will prefer.

There are much better ways to express this than to spam the same uninformative and preestablished points over and over again.

I mean, to be fair, this is a dumb tradition. It’s one of the most petty things to complain about, but it is a stupid tradition. Let’s not stoop to the level of going insane over the first hint of pro-female actions.

The flyer says there is a 15.7% discount despite them claiming a 14.7% pay difference (false.) This is generally just a horrible thing to do. This could be considered misleading, as no coffee sale exists, it is simply a cheap advertisement. The gender pay gap has been disproved hundreds of times.
