I've heard of this story a few times, but I've never heard race was a controlling factor. If it actually was, I think hate crime modifications should be required. But more to the false allegation thing, I think assault of character should be a crime. If I beat the fuck out of her, I'd probably do less damage to her than she did to these guys. But I'd get more serious charges.
