Points taken. It's a skill I wish to develop. To you last point, exactly, there are some that are better than others and that I'd like to keep around for a while. Sometimes my schedule doesn't afford me the time to go out.

I want to say that after 6 weeks of being on 140mg I went from 240 normal production to 350. The 350 number taken right before my 7th shot. Which would mean that was my lowest value for that week. Test-C has a half life of about 7 or 8 days. So after my 7th shot I was probably around 700, at least that was the doctor's guess. I'll have new labs done on the 28th of Dec. Feel free to message me then and I'll send you a copy.

The costs are front loaded. My insurance company required 2 initial blood tests to see if I qualified. I think each one was $150 or so without insurance. Each shot is about $100 without insurance. I had to retest at 6 weeks and 12 weeks, then again at 6 months. There are other methods of getting TRT besides injection, topical creams, time-release implants that last for 4-5 months. Not sure the cost of those.

TRT is not a cure to Low-T. If you want normal test level, pretty much 100%

Testicular Atrophy is a thing, yes. Hasn't bothered me or anyone I've been with.

180mg American made pharmaceutical grade testosterone cypionate, covered by insurance, administered by nurses, 100% legal. I'm a fucking werewolf, hair head to toe. If you have medical concerns, go talk to a doctor.

Why would you go to a mechanic to complain of a funny noise coming from you car? Why would you go to a dentist to get them to check out a tooth ache? Everyone is financially motivated to find problems. There are objective blood tests that I had done. There is a standard set by my insurance company, the clinic, and the medical community. I'm not really sure what you are insinuating, that they manipulated my test results?

If it is a concern of yours, talk to a doctor. 18/19 is a little young for TRT, I doubt you would find a facility to start you on therapy. Make sure you are getting 8-9 hours of sleep and eating right. There are supplements you can get like vitamin D3 and DHEA that promote natural testosterone production that you might look into.

Good luck man. It sucks knowing that you might have a problem but is comforting to know there is a solution.

My hair had been thinning on the top of my head for a couple year before starting treatment. I haven't noticed any accelerated hair loss because of the added testosterone. I have been using rogaine/minoxidil for a while now. Time will tell.

I will be having another round of blood work done in 2-3 week. I had 2 initially at my baseline normal levels. One after being on 140mg for a while. This next one will test how I'm responding to 180mg per week. I'll go see if I can find my old lab results.

Diet, specifically fat intake, plays a huge role. Sleep plays an even bigger role. If you stay up all night, your test prodction will be shit. Or if you ever notice that you wake up with a boner in the morning, "morning wood." That's because you produce your testosterone when you sleep. Your highest levels will be when you first wake up. Also, drugs and alcohol could lower your levels. I don't think masterbating or having sex would lower levels.

I've only ever heard of #1 and #2. My guess is #3 is similar to #2. Total test refers to all test found in the body, bound and unbound. Free test is just unbound. Free test levels are "more important" but American healthcare is really only concerned with total test levels for qualification purposes. My blood results display both although I couldn't tell you the normal range for total test levels.

Supplementing test, needed or not, can cause a rise in E2 levels. This effect is usually seen in larger, fatter men. Medication can be prescribed to lower E2 levels.

Yes, TRT is essentially a life long treatment program. The only time I would foreseeibly come off of treatment is if I were to try and have children. Being on TRT lowers male fertility aka sperm count.

To have my testosterone levels checked I had to go to a Low-T center. I have had blood work done, STD tests, etc and none of them ever reported test levels. If you live in or around a major US city, odds are there is a clinic that specializes in administering testosterone to men. If you are worried that you are low, but not low enough (most clinics and health insurers want you below 300 to begin treatment) know that you naturally produce your testosterone while you sleep. Your score will decreas…
