I’m sorry but what does the percentage of teachers at a middle school being female have to do with anything? Also from what I’ve heard it’s not man hating it’s about how misogyny negatively impacts adolescents but I haven’t watched it yet that’s just what I’ve heard. also isn’t the creator of the show a man? Yeah no so that post actually sounds like they’re venting are upset and venting about something they have seen from a majority while yes they are generalizing they aren’t bashing men they seem more upset that something was literally laid out for them in the show and they still believe it’s just about bullying. That’s just the way it came off for me but I also haven’t watched the show they are talking about either but thanks anyway

Also according to the google the vow to have and to hold actually signifies “a commitment to a profound, intimate, and exclusive bond, encompassing not only physical affection and tenderness but also a promise of unconditional acceptance, care, and protection.” While yes it does say physical affection it does not specify that it has to be sex so it could be things as simple as hugging kissing and cuddling

Also sex isn’t really supporting someone emotionally and sex has nothing to do with financial support and sex isn’t the only type of physical intimacy and if your going to complain about having to remain monogamous despite your partner not wanting sex then maybe you should find a different partner rather than try to force them into sex or convince them that they owe you sex

If you choose to marry someone then your also choosing to respect their boundaries and if sex is one of them then you can either respect that or leave it’s not that hard to respect a boundary just because you want sex doesn’t mean your partner does and you can’t force them to have sex with you because that is rape and that is illegal. I am 16 actually lol but as of right now I also find sex kind of scary but in that situation I’m not sure how I would feel but me personally it just feels kind of wrong for an adult and a 15-16 year old to have relationships but if it’s not illegal my opinion doesn’t really matter 🤷‍♀️

All you said was they understand it so that could be interpreted as learning not actually doing so yes that’s my bad it was a miscommunication on my end but it’s still pedophilia puberty has nothing to do with it, it’s an adult knowingly and consenting to have sex with a minor which is illegal and can be labeled as pedophilia. Also a 16 year old having sex with other 16 year olds is different from a 16 year old having sex with someone over the age of 18

Dude children of any gender or race sleeping with a teacher is definitely a big problem especially since it could be considered a form of grooming if it goes beyond just a sexual aspect but regardless pedophilia is definitely a problem

From my perspective as a young feminist it seems more so that we are striving for women = men but a good bunch think that we are already there and assume we are actually striving for women > men especially when some feminists start using things like ad hominem or insults (same thing just different words) that’s when it starts to come off as us striving for women > men I could be wrong but this is just my perspective as a young feminist

I’m in some of the feminist subreddits and for a men’s right subreddit I was pleasantly surprised! We only go after the ones where it’s just men shit talking and generalizing women and so on I’m sure you get the picture but you guys are being extremely respectful to both sides on all of these posts and this is definitely a subreddit I will be joining because quite a few of these things I didn’t even know about
