Yes it’s the best feeling ever! Guys must get this weird tingly sensation when a woman they used to date starts to level up because I swear my exes only hit me up when things are talking into place😂

Just wanted to post on here to say my lv ex recently hit me up. I kicked him to the curb a month ago and now he’s calling and texting I guess trying to get back with me or waste my time again but I did not respond to his calls and texts and I am soo proud!!

I don’t know what their deal is when they do this hot and cold text “ghost” situation before a date but I’ve implemented this new plan where I don’t go if I don’t get a confirmation the day before and the day of. It’s helped me stop worrying about if a guy is going to call or not and I’ll just make other plans!

This happened to me before and I gave the guy a second chance. Worst decision ever! I get people have busy lives or things come up that they didn’t expect but now if a guy asks me out and then goes ghost for like a day or two and hits me back up later on in the day for our date or a couple days after apologizing I just don’t respond back and delete the texts. Out of sight out of mind

Wow! That’s insane. I had a situation like this with an ex who would constantly berate me and called me a spoiled brat. I see now that when men are really insecure they try to projector insecurities until their partners or other women around them to make them feel good about themselves. It’s really sick and twisted

Thank you! Honestly it wasn’t easy and I’ve had the same conversation for three years with this person but I reached my breaking point after realizing this guy really didn’t respect me and so I cut them off and it’s honestly for the best

You hit the nail on the head!

Yup! Once he started to do that I realized he was hiding his degrading comments behind the joke ruse. My guy friend had told me about dealing with low self-esteem and self worth and that was something that I personally never dealt with. I guess he was trying to make it his mission to take me down a notch and that simply never worked. Instead it made me realize that he did not need to be in my life

This!! I just ended a three-year friendship over this situation. My friend was constantly making “jokes” about my appearance which IMO it was his way of trying to make me feel less confident about myself. It didn’t work and I told him to knock it off I and his reply was that maybe we shouldn’t talk at all bc I’m too sensitive. I agreed ( but not on the sensitive part) and said if you don’t respect my boundaries as a friend and understand that I’m asking you not to joke with me in that manner the…

I had a friend who bought her own ring and tried to tell me her boyfriend did. She’s a bad liar so she admitted that she bought it 3 seconds later. It was sad

Yup you pretty much got it right. The girl ( Vanessa) proposed after they were dating for four years mostly because he never did( she even bought her own ring for him to put on her finger) I think the public proposal was yucky and probably her way of trying to get him to say yes. I felt for her after he said no because she told him how they were together for four years, are late 20’s, were building a future etc and he just sat there like a scarecrow.

If only! I wished that was the storyline they gave Vanessa instead of the pick me bull

Exactly! I would run away from a guy like this. I was SO upset when they tried to make Vanessa out to be a villain when Daniel is a master manipulator and clearly less his girlfriend on for far too long until something “better”popped up out of thin air

I love it! That would’ve been a show I would’ve loved to watch!! Instead of this pick me vs lvm that gets the world on a silver platter scenario

I couldn’t agree more it made me so upset! I relayed it to Vanessa so much in that instance because I honestly think she saw potential in Daniel and that’s what I found myself doing a lot as well.

The show had its cute moments especially the storyline of Daniels parents and little sister However they gave Vanessa such a terrible storyline and made Daniel out to be the super sweet charismatic guy when he’s really basic AF so it honestly doesn’t get much better

OMG yes I loved her monologue! Her character had so much potential they wanted to give her such a terrible story line.

It was like a guys guide to how they see women and it told me everything I need to know. Especially the part for Daniel told his ex girlfriend he fell out of love with her but continued to be in a four year relationship with her????

This show is a big time cringe fest. I cannot believe it’s in the top 10 on Netflix

It’s like the writers thought about every fantasy in their mind where a woman can get humiliated and the lvm get the it girl ?!

The same thing happened to me! Took me ab a week to try to watch the first episode

Procede with caution. It’s on Netflix

Man! You hit the nail on the head. I ended a 3 year situation where I was a total pick me and I finally see the light! I did so much for this person who gave nothing in return. This man was real fixer upper too but I saw potential. Never again will I do that again.

This works 100% of the time! The first time I met one of my partners family members I sat back and was very observant. Then the questions started to roll in and I did the redirection method and it works like a charm!

Apparently asking to go to a different coffee shop for a date means women are masculine... This guy is a piece of work

This is so sad. I want better for her but she had fleshy it too. That comes with growth so hopefully one day she realizes her worth and cuts this leech off

I had this happen to me before. A male friend told me to drop the guy because men take time out of their day for things or people that they want. I didn’t listen and once the guy contacted me again he gave be this big speech about having a family issue going on which is why he didn’t message me back. I believed him because imo we weren’t close enough for me to know that information but in the back of my head I thought to myself why didn’t he just give me a quick text or call letting me know he w…

I relate to this post 100%. Most of my friends have gone from lvm to lvm and I saw how their lives changed and it wasn’t for the better. I didn’t want to waste my time just to say I was dating. I decided to learn about myself and grow my likes and interests from there. I spent time traveling, going on solo dates and it is amazing! I know what I like and won’t accept anything below my standards. Now I’m pretty much lvm repellant

That is extremely dangerous! I am glad she is ok and something as serious as death didn’t happen.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
