I’m not arguing anything I’m making an observation on your responses. You want a singular topic you got it… you aren’t maintaining any semblance of coherency throughout your responses, and the reading comprehension you’re demonstrating on this post is shit. That being said you’re clearly read on disingenuous debate tactics so I doubt you’re clinically slow. (I know, I know, I said one topic, and here it comes, but it was necessary to lay down the reasons why I’ve come to this conclusion, you sti…

I kinda of resent this, and I kind of want to give you a cookie for going above the standard hurr durr period rhetoric.

Lol I HATE men like that. Why? You didnt ask? Because I don’t care HOW good looking you are, if you’re a shitty person. And if you think that I have no right to reject your offer because you’re hotter than me (or any other reason, really; personally I’m not interested in dating in this stage of my life so I generally just say I don’t want a relationship, and some guys still take it personal. It wasn’t, now it is) It’s a really, really big ask. People should expect to hear no, really, not the oth…

Insecure “masculine” men who need to dominate others to try to feel like men are the bane of my existence. I’ve been working in male dominated spaces for the last 7 years and as a physically strong woman I’ve really had to sharpen my teeth to survive a couple of these spaces. I’ve got a supervisor right now that’s an egomaniac cripple who’s tried to cause me physical harm a couple times now. Once by coming up behind me with no warning to help me with an approximately 70lb roll I had on my should…

So when a cop pulls over a black dude down in the USA and he’s feeling some kinda way about it that’s absolutely ridiculous right?

I stand corrected, you make a really good point at the end. But at the same time, being mentally ill, or coming from an abusive family, really shouldn’t be stigmatized either, and are probably the two greatest risk factors for someone to wind up trapped in abusive relationships. Especially with the more sadistic mentally ill. They wind up the doormats I see way too many uniformed people that are ignorant to the ignorance of their privilege shitting on.

I think in your analogy it would be more appropriate to liken the fear of bumping into someone so much as a raging drunk idiot blowing a red and maiming you. Perhaps worse. We know the road isn’t covered in sociopaths out to take whatever they feel entitled to, harm to others be damned or enjoyed. The problem is there’s more than enough of them. Entire fucking ideologies justifying deceiving women to break them, fuck them, control them. Yeah, TRP, I’m lookin’ at you. The normalization of violent…

That they were raised in abusive households. That’s what it says. That’s literally the only thing that it says. Do some basic research.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet. On so many levels. I mean seriously, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin, at any age, but you’d already spent hours talking and been on a date and he can’t give you two full sentences about why he’s not comfortable with your v-card? A gentle let down like a decent human? Nah fuck that guy.

A good man may be hard to find, but a hard man is good to find. If Jesus said that it never made its way into the Bible.

Thank you… It’s like we’re not even seen as human. I wonder how many men who subscribe to red pill ideology think about their friends in such a one dimensional and transactional way… if they’d manipulate their friends the way they think it’s appropriate to manipulate us. It’s like if you do that to everyone you’re a sociopath but if you only do it to women it’s okay. Make it make sense.

Sure they are, in the sense of they don’t know themselves, their boundaries, or what they really want yet and are more likely to go along with whatever whoever they look up to tells them is best for them.

This was my first thought. The number of times a guy has “warned” me about some other guy being a creep, only to be at least as creepy as the accusation itself… not saying it’s never sincere. It occasionally has been and that is appreciated. I find most “the other gender does this awful thing…” posts on this sub are always applicable to shitty people of both genders.

I would like to add that in addition to young and naive women, they also prey on women with backgrounds of abuse because they know it’s already harder for them to set and maintain boundaries, and generally easier to get them to doubt their own narrative of the story.

Yeah actually good reason to be weary of old men in wheelchairs: I had one ask for help getting a beer out of his side bag at a bus station on my way home from work once, (that right there should have been enough reason to walk away but I was naive and in a city where pretty much everyone you see past 10pm is on something) and he grabbed my arm and pulled me close and wouldn’t let go. Thankfully a bus driver saw it and yelled at him. If he pulled that on me now, 11 years later, I’d tip his fucki…
