Ive never personally experienced it, though i know that doesnt mean it doesnt happen. The uni i was at had a femsoc but they kept to themselves for the most part. Never bothered me. Although once i was reading an article in the university paper and the article started with "trigger warning the following article contains ...(...)...(..).. triggers" or something to that effect and i was bemused more that anything.

The other ones have a general atmosphere of humour about them that, while i applaud them for creating a relaxed attitude, also erodes any seriousness to the message. I dont know where to stand, ill photograph the rest of them tomorrow and upload then and see what the general consensus is.

Yeah ive had that response before, sometimes in real life. My father and my mother and myself all share the opinion that trying to engage an extremist of any kind in conversation is an exercise in futility. Feminist extremists i tend to stray from because whenever i try to engage them in conversation i often get called 'rape apologist' even when the subject of rape is not brought up.
