Mission- Too early to concern myself with this Some advice from a fellow newcomer: defining your mission is an early and big priority. It provides direction and purpose for everything you do and every change you make. Without a clear mission, your decisions are just reactive to whatever problem you encounter and you can/will find yourself moving in circles rather than forward.

OYS #2 50M, 6'1, 197 lbs, married 25 yrs to 49F, together 32, 2 kids 17 and 14. Long gap since OYS #1. Focused on sidebar reading and internalizing, restarting physical shape and upgrading to lifting, rebuilding frame, defining mission. Read NMMG, MMSLP, TWOTSM, and all three of Rollo Tomassi's The Rational Male books. Currently reading Practical Female Psychology. Next round will focus on game and DEVI. After completing a 4 year grad school program last year, and a job change to 100% desk/admin…

This is pure gold. Tying all this material back to instinctive, evolutionary traits is a home run. Core elements of the sidebar plug into this thesis seamlessly, from lifting to frame to mission and so on. This as a standalone document would be a good addition to the sidebar in my (worthless) opinion. edit: Thank you for writing this.

Touche' I drop my foil on that one. Great discussion and callout of my weak points. More work to be done here. And yes we've been to Europe, one of our kids was very likely conceived in Paris.

Congrats. I was thrown off by your admiration of the French physique. I don't check out French dudes, personally.

This is a good start in my OYS journey. Yup, going on strike was lame. Only thing more disgusting would have been "trying harder". Next time, if there is one, I stay in my frame and keep making whatever I want. She doesn't have to eat it, I don't need validation/approval for doing what I want. I keep real Vermont stuff, not that corn syrup sugar-loaded trash you probably had back in the day. Once a week and not over-eating hasn't expanded anybody's ass or gut in this house other than mine, and t…

Fair point, but that forum provided useful case studies on dysfunction at that early stage of knowledge gathering and a few replies to the whining were good. Lot of BS whining to weed through to get useful data. My takeaway from that reading: she was attracted to you, but now she's not. Figure out why, and fix it. That forum is no longer of use for the same reasons you posted. And fuck eggs. I make kickass pancakes or french toast because that's what I like and the kids will eat it happily. Only…

OYS first post, approx 3 months into RP study and implementation. 51y, 6'1, 228lbs, married 25 years, together 30 years, 2 teenage daughters. Blessed w/ high metabolism so not too fat, but grew a gut and muscles flabbed over the years of BP living. Bedroom devolved into intermittent duty sex, she stashed the lingerie in the vault never to be seen again. 3 months ago it further devolved into semi-voluntary sex, she cooperated but no touching the boobs allowed and "hurry up and finish". That was t…

While you're right about his initial reaction and lack of follow-through, he has the opportunity to turn that "date" remark into a good Game move if he takes the right next step. He was caught off guard. Next time he sees communication w/ the guy or another non-work meet up, our man can be mentally prepared to turn on his Alpha and throw down.

You were absolutely right to call it a "date", there's a big difference between talking to a guy at work about work stuff vs. going out together outside work hours. It's a date. And he's a guy. There's something in it for him, hoping some day she'll escalate the relationship and throw him some action. I had this over a decade ago with my wife and a male coworker. One night she brings home groceries, unpacks a box of cookies and puts 2 in a ziploc bag. Unusual, so I ask. They're for "Mark" at wor…
