I have never been accused but my sister... She has no problem getting up in his face and demanding to know why he is playing with children. Presumably it's only when she feels something isn't quite right but when I'm out with her I feel very uncomfortable, I don't dare look in the direction of a child.

She says she was forcibly dragged from a building kicking and screaming and raped under the cover of some nearby bushes. It's unclear if people heard and chose not to assist, but proved beyond a reasonable doubt is difficult, the military chose not to pursue the complaint. She later claimed she was being harassed by the individual, her request to be reassigned to a new base was granted.

I have a niece that made a rape allegation against a fellow soldier a few years ago, she was, and still is in the military. The military, it seems, does not take kindly to women making rape allegations against their soldiers. That reality was a real eye opener for her. Her allegations were disregarded because she had been in a bar drinking with the alleged rapist earlier that evening. Needless to say, she was livid with that decision. This "trend" by Reddit users to create "alternative" labels is somewhat off putting. I've noticed when an alternative label is used it generally requires a great deal of follow-up effort to explain to the populace what the new term means and justify its use (if it's to catch on). Inevitably the explanation drifts to the use of ever more alternative labels, In essence attempting to explain the new terminology with more new labels. What could once have been perceived as a possible attempt at intel…
