Duude. Then you absolutely made the right decision man. I'm sure his niece is also thinking about your connection with him as part of her hesitancy. I say chillax for a bit, make sure you're not pushy (I don't think you are) and allow the heat to relax for a bit. The niece at some point may miss the thrill she had with you and want to reconnect. But it's not just you and her - it's you, her and one of your closest friends. Usually I advise for good assertive pickup using many of the TRP principl…

My friend then threw a wrench into that plan. Bros before hoes. Your friend invited you to a wedding. You paused pursuit because you respected your friend enough. Give yourself credit for being the better man and stopping to respect your friend. It is your friend, right? Because if you're not really friends, then I say fuck the shit out of her. But I'm assuming you want to keep that friendship, so kudos. Live abundantly. You'll hear back from the niece because she'll start missing your passion, …

Yep, and this is your friend's niece so play it conservatively. Remember - abundance mentality. Just move on if she's not available.

After you follow everything already said, you can always do this: instead of taking your life and leaving earth, you can leave where you are. Just quit your job. Get rid of your things. Travel. Use workaway.info to live somewhere exotic, contribute to the community, and don't have to pay room and food. Good luck.

but not having anything to connect on throws my whole game out of whack. My point exactly in this post. I'm just wanting to approach and approach purely, not letting me head / expectations / internal judgment or bias get in the way

it’s other people’s reaction that bothers me EXACTLY. I've done a lot of inner personal work to get to the point that I don't give a fuck about what others think of me anymore. I'm wondering if there's a remaining residue of that though when it comes to approaching younger-looking (regardless of actual age) girls. Then I have to remind myself that I shouldn’t give a fuck, their opinions don’t matter. Good reminder for me too.

Maybe if she looks too young for you then she is. Yeah that's what I'm wondering. I usually talk to girls out of intuition: whether I'm curious about something that I want to talk to them about (then again this is true for anyone - girl, guy, grandma), or if she's curious about me (you know, seeing those subtle indicators of interest or curiosity). This girl in particular looked back at my friend and I a couple of times, so for sure one of us should've just went up to her and said "what's up?" B…

A little more detail to how you got to that state. Or have you always been that way? That'll help.

Asian in USA chiming in here. Quite honestly, it depends where in the USA you'll move. You move to a big city - no problem. Note that there will be women that prefer white men. You go about your business and ignore those because tons of women that will date a witty international guy are all over the place. Now, in the south and certain other parts of the country, girls might be a bit more race-sensitive. But you'll have to ask local TRP men that live there. The fact that you're witty will get yo…
