Mine asked to either "switch to Instagram" or "update" or something, and small letters at the bottom said not now. Hitting 'not now' popped open something else I refused and then it took me to the video. Couldn't rewatch without closing and opening again.

Don't fret, you're right. Just because you can doesn't mean you should and with great power comes great responsibility.
