There probably isn't some specific thing that is the problem. It's likely that you are a random stranger and didn't make much of a connection. She has options and doesn't know you. You need to make more of a connection. Or do alot more approaches so you can play the numbers game more.

What are the crowds like during the week at Karaoke bars? I've been thinking about going out more during the week, but wonder if decent crowds can be had during the week.

I have audio to a handful of them, maybe 5-6 hours worth. I'd say lets wait to see what Tom is going to do. He may just go back online again. Tom has a large community of people and he has sort of just gone off the grid out of no where. His podcasts were the best game related material online hands down. They are highly motivational. I hope he makes an announcement or puts out a message to let us all know whats going on.

Ok, I have a few things I can add. First, I was in the same situation as you are. I started community college at age 24 and had dropped out earlier. I'm well into my career now, so it was a good choice and hopefully it will be for you too. I'm about 2x your age so quite a bit older.
