Are you 100% sure you are the father? I would do an at home DNA test first if there is any doubt as that could possibly be the first step to resolve your issue completely.

Keep any pics of her with the kids, as the kids may want them someday. Delete everything else with her in it.

Ain’t ruined brother— just a temporary set back. The lower the valley, the higher the peak. Start climbing and make sure she sees you when you’re at the top.

Same brother, but hate / anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die from it. Forgiveness is hard for me as well— I’m Sicilian and we hold vendettas forever, but I’ve found radical acceptance as a much more palatable approach to release the anger without necessarily absolving the individual. Hang in there bro

I think you owe it to the kids to agree to change your partnering style if she is willing to change hers. She provides zero disciplinary support because she thinks you are over disciplining. A strong dad doesn’t need to be a drill sergeant to be effective. Weak men lead through fear and intimidation. Let her know you’re willing to take a softer approach if she is willing to support your efforts and provide a unified front to the kiddos. And even if this doesn’t save the marriage it will at least…

The first holidays hit hard— hang in there buddy. The only way through is forward. That chapter of your life has closed— gotta stop thinking about it as it’s not going to help you heal. Read up on and start practicing radical acceptance and go write your next chapter.

Exactly— it’s hard stepping into the unknown but 1000x worth it once you get there

Same— emotionally and (to a lesser extent) physically abusive wife for about 10+ years. Tried to hang on for the kids but in the end my health started to fail. Looking back 6 months after the fact and I can say it was honestly soooo worth it. I’m currently broke and have lost a lot of fair-weather friends, but I haven’t been this happy since I could remember. IMO, the interim pain is worth the long term happiness.

Highly recommend digging in and practicing radical acceptance and other tenets of stoicism. Hang in there brother.

Not worth it IMO. You are hurting yourself and the kids. Your health (mental, emotional, and even physical) will eventually break down. This will not only hurt you, but also the kids as it will severely limit your ability to function as a dad. Add to this the fact that you and your wife are not modeling a loving and committed relationship for the kids. So you’re going to skew their perspective on what a healthy relationship is and inadvertently set them up to accept the same level of abuse when …
