Charlie’s Angels (2000) had a decent understanding of how spy films work and was entertaining. Hell it was better than the other garbage spy/heist/action films at the time. This is an interesting trend I noticed in 80s music. A lot of male artists would make songs like this one as well as songs like”You Make My Dreams Come True” (also by Hall and Oates). Almost like they knew what was going on but didn’t want to say it explicitly.
